We went for breakfast, the food was good but the service was not great. The waitress was borderline rude to us, it was like we were putting her out by being there. Maybe you have to be regular to be treated good. The old pictures on the wall were fun to look at and the train going by was nostalgic as well.

Worth the drive as it's not along the highway. This is a quaint (small) cafe with excellent food, packed during dinner specials esp Fri & Sat. .Friendly waitresses and cooks. The singing cowboy is Jessie one of the chefs, i suggest going when he is on duty.

Liver and onions was the worst my friend ever had. Hamburgers were not homemade. Most items sold was frozen. Prime rib dip was good. Beets on salad was an added bonus for me. Overall food wasn't god. Waitress was very nice.

We are new to the area we just want to tell them a month ago and we went there for dinner one night had a great server gentleman who is very funny very upbeat and it was quite busy in there and he still took the time to check on us. Then we went for breakfast a couple of days ago and although the food was good I have the worst service. The lady that waited on us was obviously wife mother and grandmother but her attitude sucked. I really never have any encountered such rude service. I hesitate to go back to this restaurant even though it's two blocks from my house. I think I might rather drive up the road near the 5 freeway and go to that other restaurant up there.

Always a great experience! Family owned & operated and everyone who enters the door leaves feeling like family. It has a long positive history in a very small community. The food is fantastic every meal.of the day. And if you're listening you may hear one of the cooks singing as he creates his satiating masterpieces. P.S. The turtle pancake is always a hit.
