I really enjoyed the food at this place! The fresh rolls were indeed refreshing and came with a delicious crunchy peanut sauce. My friend loves the pad Thai, and I got the drunken noodles which I really enjoyed - the sauce is slightly sweet, savory and tangy. Great service too. Would definitely come back!
This was our first time visiting and this place is great! We were a chatty, indecisive group and our waitress handled it with endless amounts of patience. She answered questions kindly and with enthusiasm. I am always adamant that the service can make or break a restaurant experience. The food was also delicious. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered, and we enjoyed the crab rangoons so much that we ordered a second round. Absolutely planning a return visit! Parking: The restaurant is around the back of the building so pull around to the back parking lot.
First time. Really big portions, nice staff. I would not get the spring rolls again, they lacked flavor. Tried the green curry fried rice, besides the slight mixture of undercooked and overcooked veggies it was good. Looking forward to trying more of the menu.
Great menu here! The only downside is we couldn’t try everything in one visit. Perfectly pairs with one of the spiked Thai tea cocktails :
Thai is one of our favorite cuisine. This place is nicely renovated after the fire accident. Portions are generous and price is reasonable. The only problem i have is the flavor and spice level differing each time we visit. It is either hit or miss, lacks consistency. Fried rice was the most greasy of all. Soup is kind of standard in flavor. Also the chicken sate is a must. 6/19/2019 - one more visit and this time it was a hit !! Loved both green curries & fried rice. Soup tastes the best.
I went to Little Bangkok with friends to celebrate a birthday. We decided to split several dishes and go family style. Every single dish was delicious well, the fried tofu didn't taste like anything, but that's kind of tofu's thing, right? And it came with more peanut sauce, so...... I feel like we've had bad luck with Thai in Grand Rapids we usually go to Zeeland, so it's nice to know there is a pretty good place close to home. Unfortunately, since we were doing the family style thing, we didn't have a chance to try the soup. I look forward to trying it next time.
What a wonderful, friendly Thai restaurant! I ordered 2 large trays, one of Beef Khao Phat and one of Beef Kee Mao for a family get-together. Since our get-together was on a Sunday, I picked the trays up on Saturday afternoon. Someone took the time to type out detailed instructions on how to reheat the food so it would be at its absolute best and even wished a happy birthday to my son-in-law at the end of the instructions. The manager was a great help to me when I ordered the trays, and a nice young man even carried the trays out to my car when I picked them up as they were somewhat heavy. Oh, my goodness! The food was absolutely delicious! We all loved it!! Highly recommend this wonderful, family-oriented Thai restaurant!! -- Sandra Tuinstra 4/24/2023
We like to come here on weekends when we have a craving for Thai food. It’s cozy, pretty and excellent prompt service. The dishes are authentic and spicy as you like, great selection of beers including Singh Ha. A real jewel in Cascade/Ada, and easy on the pocketbook too. Vegetarian options: Lots of options filled with vegetables and no meat. Kid-friendliness: Low key and just right for kids. Parking: Ample free parking right outside the door. Wheelchair accessibility: No Steps, wide open flat floor and very accessible tables. Bathrooms accessible also. Very wheelchair and ambulation device friendly.
Here’s a tip - come in to order take out in person and sit at the bar to wait with a Thai beer served in a chilled glass. Excellent food and friendly service - highly recommend any dish with the peanut curry sauce.
I had heard about the place from my friend, and I was looking forward to having a meal here. Frankly, it was an excellent Thai option if you're in Grand Rapids. The service is by quick and polite staff. I had veg. basil fried rice, spring rolls, and Thai tea. New comers must try the tea. Compared to other Thai places I have tried, this place does spice up a dish a bit more than usual.. I would not recommend making any dish above medium spicy.
