I was here Dec 19 2023-2:10 pm. Made my purchases/ brought up in a beer flat/ donated to McMaster children’s hospital at the checkout. Young cashier with glasses all smiles and cordial. Until! …I reached for one empty wine box to take home for bottle returns. Things went south with her. Got the third degree that they are not for customers and they stopped providing paper bags I knew that about the paper bags The front wall was STACKED with empty wine boxes as it has been for twenty + years. I merely explained I was only taking ONE box for bottle returns. I got a snarky “ still….”nHere we go….Going to suggest you adopt to the bigger lcbo’s policy and get rid of the “empty box temptations “ at the front of your store. If they are not meant for paying customers that keep YOU in business/ employed then shove them off to the large storage area out back and into a recycle bin- out of site/ out of mind and you don’t have to repeat the “ stop right there…hands up…I’m with the box police!” each time. Didn’t enjoy the snide remark either.nRemoving plastic bags? Perfect. Going paperless? Will probably never happen in my lifetime nor lcbo’s . Have fun getting your product shipped in anything else besides paper products. It’s cardboard people- not gold! Get a grip. I’ll get my boxes at Caledonia lcbo from now on. I have no issues there.

If you shop here, be careful. If you use debit, make sure to check your bank account immediately. If you pay in cash, be sure to count your change and double check they didn’t ring your purchase more than once.nBoth manager as well as cashier have overcharged me, and charged my debit card twice. I did not get an honest mistake kind of vibe. I got a very shady vibe.nI wont go here anymore.

It sells lots of different booze! No paper bags though. Lol oh well.
