Lino's Italian Restaurant has been serving up great, homemade Italian dishes since 1986. Lino and Elvira Borraccio, owners, stepped off the boat in the late 1950s from San Vittore del Lazio and Santa Elia Fiume Rapido, Italy, respectively. With a great appreciation for fine cuisine, they created a restaurant that uses real ingredients and real people, never skimping on quality. Now, son Anthony and grandson Michael take on the tradition in the second and third generations. Well based on my friends recommendation I decided to go to Linos instead of Kreus and Meir did I spell that right ?. I wasn’t disappointed. I just asked the waiter to bring a wine and I loved the white whine. Also, the food was really good. Perfectly cooked.  Only wish was that the bread was a little better.

Lino's was a wonderful experience for us.  We had our funeral luncheon in the afternoon.  They fed about 50 people.  The food was fantastic, hot & ready for us as we came in.  Such good food!  The staff was so good to us and our family.  All around it was a great venue and I highly recommend it.

Lino's is arguably the best Italian food in Rochester, and one of the top Italian restaurants in southeast Michigan. I have been going there from time to time for the last 30 years... Actually since I was an infant. My baptism party was there also . They offer a variety of authentic Italian dishes, homemade breads, and specialty pastas. The gnocchi are on par with grandma's. Calamari is tender, not tough, and comes with a variety of cuts. Service is always excellent, and the bar is well stocked with Italian favorites. Lastly, the quaint indoor space is perfect for a more intimate dining experience. Cannot recommend highly enough, as someone who has grown up with homemade southern Italian cuisine!

Delicious, authentic, beautiful Italian food. A wonderful place with a great atmosphere and a price to match. But in my experience, very worth it for a nice meal.  The service was fast and attentive to our needs but never overbearing. They were friendly when needed and distant while they weren't. Very happy overall and will be returning next year for a Christmas meal.

We've been going to Lino's for 15 years now for birthdays and anniversaries. We have never been disappointed with food, the service, or the atmosphere. And Lino himself is always around and in a great mood.  My wife and I always get the herb-crusted salmon these days - and love it every time! - but I've tried many other dishes, and they are all fabulous. I love the gnocchi!

This is a solid "good" restaurant. I would need to visit several times and try more dishes to see if it desired a higher rating. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming, dark woods with tables or booths and a separate bar area. Very clean. Good selection on the menu with average prices. My salad was fresh and crisp. Chicken piccata was very tasty and the portion was generous. My cannoli was absolutely the best I've ever had. Service was friendly and efficient. This restaurant has been here for fourty years, so they must be doing many things right. I definitely will be going back.

Good food I had the salmon and it melted in my mouth. I would have liked a better choice of salad dressings but it was still good. Nice atmosphere. I had my 4 children and they have a nice kids menu or  a great pizza.

Best Italian food ever. I’ve been going to Lino’s for so long and I will never get sick of it. The atmosphere makes you feel like your actually in Italy having a nice dinner. The service and food are always incredible. Thank you Lino’s!

Way too expensive for what you get.  The chicken in the two entrees we had were totally tasteless - the sauces were good, but the chicken actually had a "gamey" taste. It should have been marinated or at least seasoned. We paid $60.00 dinner for two, no drinks, one appetizer for a dinner that would have cost $30.00 anywhere else.  Honestly, the chicken tenders at McDonalds taste 100% better at a fraction of the cost.  The pasta's marinara sauce lacked any savory flavor you would expect in a restraurant like this.  It simply tasted like crushed tomatoes.  Finally, the service was sub-par.  After our appetizer came, we waited ten minutes for our silverware - it was only after I went up to the hostess station to ask for it that we finally got it.  The young girl that served our bread, though, was very pleasant.  Finally, for the entire duration of our dinner approx 90 minutes, the same song played over and over like a bad dream.  When we mentioned this to the waitress, she was well aware of it, but she was actually excited that nignt because it was the first time in a week that they changed the "daily" song to a new song!

Thanks for the great buffet you provided for Michael's Graduation Party! Everyone complemented us on the food and service. Our server was fantastic... helping to ensure food trays were always full, cleaning up tables and taking care of anything that needed to be done so we could enjoy the party.  Many of our guests went back for seconds. The pasta with meat sauce, ribs and breaded chicken were favorites.  I really appreciate all you do, thanks for treating us like part of the family! - That's the Italian way!
