Dr. Lewis grew up in Kansas; she graduated from UMKC School of Dentistry in 1975 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. Linda worked in private practice in Kansas until she and her husband relocated to Minnesota in 1987. She continued to work in both private practice and for the Indian Health Service in Red Lake, Cass Lake and the White Earth Reservations. At the time she graduated from UMKC she considered dental school but did not pursue it. At the young age of 39, she chose to continue her professional development in dentistry and entered the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Dr. Lewis graduated from the University of Minnesota with high distinction in 1998. Dr. Lewis combined her love for the Lakes area with her passion for dental health and opened the practice of her dreams in cozy Crosslake. She continues to be a lifelong learner and to provide functional and beautiful dentistry for people.
Dr. Lewis lives in the lakes area with her husband, Ralph, and enjoys time with her family and friends. She likes to read, travel, go fishing, and enjoy the changing of seasons in northern Minnesota.
Dr. Lewis is passionate about teeth. She says it sounds funny, but she believes it is really about nourishing our bodies and communicating with each other. “A healthy tooth is also a beautiful tooth. Think about nature and the asymmetry we see. This allows us to develop a natural appearance. My goals are to put back what is missing. That is restorative care and enhances communication by creating a result that is functional and beautiful. This allows your facial muscles to relax and smile!” Dr. Lewis’s goal is to share what is possible and develop a plan that is specific to your needs.
