We were here for an art festival and it was amazing! The flowers are beautiful and there was a lot of excellent art to look at and buy. This is a beautiful, historical gem in our area!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$6–10
Fabulous home, meticulously maintained piece of history. Christmas tree fundraiser was fantastic and learned much about the home I didn't know previously. Great gathering with our friends for the holiday. Can't wait to visit again!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot surePrice for adult entry$6–10
Can’t give 5 stars as we did not go in, but it is a beautiful house and worth a quick stop. Grounds are also pretty with view of Janesville. Museum is next door, along with the archives. Plenty of other old homes to walk around as well.
Love this historic building. So thankful we as a community get to be a part of its traditions!
Trees everywhere very cool looking historical place. Neat to see somewhere where Lincoln slept. Only place lacking was the gift shop as it didn't have many small sovereigneirs. More art with nothing pertaining to the museum.
Very cool place to have any kind of gathering. 3 levels of high class rooms, and the bathrooms were large and clean. Even had an elevator!
Very nice people with alot of info to share! Love that they support local artists in the gift shop. Beautifully well kept structures that transport you to the old ways of living. Reminded of why new and better ways were once needed to free up time in the daily hustle we call life.Visited onWeekendWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$11–15

Dave was an amazing tour guide and handled our small 6 group of talkative ladies beautifully. He knew the history of the house and the family so well and was wonderful at bringing it to life.. The house is breathtaking! It was wonderful to have so much of the original furniture in the home. Highly recommend this tour! Hoping to plan a trip at Christmas time.
