Lincoln Brick Park

There is a lot of different historic sites to see there is also lots of trails . It's also a good place to walk your dog .

Steep slopes and breathtaking views, we followed the trails to find rock outcroppings. It was absolutely beautiful and worth the drive!

An awesome way to spend a day. Take a picnic. Explore on the trails. Take great pics. Beautful in the fall.

I'm giving this place three stars because I enjoy going there so much. I would give it 5, but due to the lack of follow-through with hours I can't justify it. I went there yesterday from Okemos at 7:30pm. It was perfectly light out. The park gate was closed, despite all the signs saying it's open until dusk. If I was a local, it might not be a big deal. But to say you're open until a certain time, and then you close almost two hours early, is a big inconvenience to park guests. Why isn't it posted on the signs that it's open until 6? Almost every time I've went, they've told me that they close the gates at 9:30pm, or 9, depending on the month and when it gets dark. I wasted a trip, gas and my time for no reason. I have yet to get a call back from the Eaton County park director regarding this matter. Make it open until dusk please, you'll help those of us that work until 6pm greatly!
