Authentic Irish pub in the heart of Syracuse, they serve many local beers like southern tier brewing company and other upstate NY favorites, they have solid food and a pool table ! The inside is very well decorated like an old Limerick pub! The live music is always fun especially on Tuesday Blues night.
Syracuse 'landmark'. Cozy inviting spot. Nice beer selection
A nice little pub in the heart of Armory Square. Great beer and overall drink selection. Bring your $$. Vibrant, yet safe cozy atmosphere.
Prompt accurate friendly service from the two female bartenders. However the two men coming in and out of the backroom killed the mood behind the bar. They both ignored the customers and gave glaring looks to everyone including the customers as they walked back and forth behind the bar. The music also didn't vibe for an Irish bar or the crowd.
Looooong bar room. Guinness on tap. Two pool tables. A dart board AND a juke box with ample Hank Williams. Indoor galore with light filtering in and brick courtyards all around. Lovely hardwood flooring. My only *meh* is I'm no fan of Whitney Houston and other cheesy 80s music... so I spent $10 in the jukebox to make me happy
I have never been treated as rudely as I was tonight by Trish, the bartender on staff this afternoon. Instead of greeting me in a courteous and professional way, she demanded I promise not to cause any trouble. I asked her to explain, and instead of answering my question, she tried to deflect the point back to me by saying if I didn't know what she was talking about, then I was that bad. I was so stunned, I didn't know what to say, so I left. I didn't swear, threaten anyone, or anything else. I got up and she threw a fit as I was walking out, screaming about how she was going to tell her boss. The curious thing is that I hadn't set foot in the Limerick since before the pandemic started, and when I did, a different bartender waited on me and everything was fine. I went in a week after that, and a different bartender waited on me, and it was fine. Oh well...
Weekend staff are amazing, but definitely just got hustled out before last call by the guy with an accent. Never seen him before, but mad rude.
Rude, mean female bartender during the afternoon.
Great pub. Friendly staff. I make it a point to stop by for a pint anytime I'm in Syracuse.
Went there on last Sunday of Fair ! We remembered the bartender from 2 years ago . He gave us Shots in this fancy bottle. Hi from Buffalo!!!
