Absolutely loved it! The resort pool area is perfect for everyone of all ages, and you feel like you are on a tropical vacation. You can bring your own food and drinks but they have a canteen if not. I would recommend getting there when the doors open to get the best spot to stay for the day. The camp area was well kept with a park, catch and release fishing, and has a small store for things you may have forgotten. Will definitely be back and highly recommend
Was asked to leave for wearing a more covered bathing suit two weeks ago. To our surprise, there is a segment aired today on CTV News where a family encountered an experience with the SAME potential owner of the resort under similar circumstances to ours. How horrible. Gladly it is now aired in public and we would like to say “enjoy the backlash” to those involved, you are clearly asked for it and it is now being delivered. We have also discovered a Reddit thread with the owners facial image and details surfacing.
I've been coming here for decades and it just keeps getting better and better! The staff changes yearly so SOMETIMES you get the odd grumpy teenager, but overall it's a fantastic place that spares no expense in entertainment/pool maintenance. My children have already made memories that will last a life time and there will many more memories to come! We are very excited for Halloween in August 2022!!!
I would like to start off by saying we had an overall great time. From the day we arrived up until we checked out the staff was very nice and friendly. The waterpark was clean and so much fun for myself and my two daughters. We were staying for two nights June 12th to June 14th in Lodge 1 with no issues. The problem I encountered occurred afterwards with who I think was management, however they never really confirmed. A few hours after checking out I noticed an email in my spam folder. I was accused of causing damage to the Lodge and that charges will apply for the cost to repair. No phone call and no inquiry at all if something happened during my stay just an accusation. They sent a photo of the damage which was a crack at the top of the cabinet just above the refrigerator up near the ceiling where I am not sure how an average person could reach up that high. I noticed it when I first walked in but assumed it was normal where and tear of the unit. Luckily for myself I had a photo of my daughter in front of the kitchen with the damage in the background shortly after we checked in. I'm afraid of the battle it would have been if I did not have this photo in my possession. After writing a review of my experience I was then told that the original photo they sent me was taken by their staff after they were touching the area of concern and that they didn't actually take a photo to confirm the "full damage" they were describing to me. It was confusing because if they were already handling the area and potentially caused damage themselves not sure why they contacted me. Its unfortunate it ended this way as I paid good money to be there and had no issues during my stay. Just wanted to share this in case it happens to anyone else staying in their accomodation. If you are staying in Lodge 1 there is already damage in the unit above the refrigerator near the ceiling and make sure to document everything upon arrival. Maybe I am naive but have never been accused of damaging property so will be more mindful in the future. Definitely a learning experience. I would recommend the staff do more thorough walk-throughs with their guests upon check-in/check-out if they are going to charge their guests damage fees. It may have turned out to be an insignificant $20 to them again not sure how they came up with that figure but it was definitely made out to be a bigger deal until I was able to provide my support.
Don't forget to visit it next year; it's great for kids and families sure you will enjoy it
very nice!! relaxing, and fun w friends. the steep slide was absolutely thrilling!! would recommend to come here!
Great place to bring kids
Busy but fun. Told not to pay at front for not wanting to use amenities. Was later told to pay and brought to the office. Not a big deal at all but just confused employees.
Awesome place to bring the family all summer long with so many things to do!
Great place to go with the family. Pack a picnic and enjoy the pools for the day. Place is well kept and maintained. Staff is very attentive ensuring the garbage is cleaned up promptly. Has three pools with waterslides for three different age ranges along with hot tubs for family and adult. Also offers live bands and some games for entertainment. On the hotter and busier days, place can get very full so I would recommend getting there early to secure a table with some shade. We had a great time and will be back soon.
