Lighthouse Bar & Grill

Overall a very meh place. I reviewed this place when they first opened and their service was better then. You come in and the tables are dirty and there is one waitress serving 1/2 the restaurant and bar tenders that frequently disappear. In the 20 minutes I have been here the only two bartenders have been behind the bar for about a total of five minutes. So the waitress who can't keep up with her tables and table bussing is now also pouring the beers she puts in. Way too loud here too, and I'm saying this as a person in my mid 20s not as a cranky old man. If you get the wings, 12 is a lot of wings and no you can't get more than one sauce, even if you offer to pay extra. I would love to try the PB&J wings, but 12 is too much to commit to if they turn out to be gross and I'm not the kind to send food back to the kitchen. So I guess I'll just settle for something else. Good luck lighthouse, but I'll choose to eat, drink and play keno elsewhere in the future.

My family and I have been to the Lighthouse Bar & Grill several times since it opened last year. We were very excited for a new bar/grill in the area since there are limited options in the Tiburon area for dining. Every time we've been to this establishment the negatives continued to compile. We anticipated some inconsistency when the bar/grill opened up but over time these items have not been resolved or have gotten worse. Let me start by saying the food is average at best. The only items we've found consistency with are the pizza and the charred wings. Otherwise we've found that the food is overcooked, salty, and greasy. The happy hour beer prices are hard to beat, but the negatives outweigh the otherwise great prices for happy hour. The acoustics in the room are awful. It's incredibly difficult to have a conversation with the people you are with. This is the loudest bar I have ever been in and it is noticed immediately once you walk into the bar through one of multiple entrances. There appears to be no main entrance. Some of the entrances open up directly to guests at tables which is very inconvenient. To cap things off, in addition to our food issues last night (greasy, over-seasoned, overcooked), our menus were greasy. When we were in the middle of eating our dinner (we were seated in a booth in the middle of the bar) a server was cleaning up the booth on the other side of the wall and sprayed the cleaning solution all over the table and we could see (and smell) this mist of cleaning solution land all over our half eaten meals. At this point we were done with the meal and it definitely solidified our decision to never come back.

Love the buffalo chicken sandwich. They made some improvements to the inside to help with the noise level. Love the food and service.

Wings and TV’s is only reason for 1 Star. A lot of turnover with waitresses probably due to owner who always just stands around and not willing to help out his staff that always seem to be training and confused. Service is slow and very disappointing for a new bar. I truly believe bad service and turnover is all a reflection of the owner and lack of his support.

This place is awesome! It's different from the other location on W Maple - there are a lot of very large TVs, which is great if you want to watch one or multiple games at the same time! Their Happy Hour is unmatched by any other place around - $4 for a 35oz mug of domestic deliciousness and $6 for 10 wings! The wings and the pizza rival Oscar's! There are daily food specials for every day of the week and $3 Long Islands every day! Welcome to the neighborhood!
