LLGC restaurant update attached: We followed our favourite chef andrew here. Been here for breakfast and sunday brunch. Firstly, the brunch benedict is amazing def see his influence. Andrews touch with the food is definately there. As for the front of the house...many tables were dirty, cobwebs under tables, ceiling fans were so filthy that they were black...windows were all dirty no signage as to where to enter the restaurant. Servers seemed confused about whether or not there was a brunch specific menu. The reason i gave a three is because of the food only. I know andrew runs a tight ship and im sure the kitchen is kept clean. Usually when i walk into such a dirty restaurant id walk back out. Update: we were back for brunch benedit today. Tables were clean. Windows seemed cleaner. Looked in better shape. No cobwebs around windows.Ceiling fans still black as night. Food was absolutely FANTASTIC!! glad we gave it another chance. Brunch was dead but it was raining...maybe some better advertising guys? Food is great but i haven't heard anyone ever even mention this restaurant exists... Andrew you are the absolute best. I hope this brunch menu stays around but definately needs to get the word out.
Lots of positive changes under new management spring 2017. The course is great for beginners or a real quick round, you can leave half of your bag at home, it's a short course. Drainage is an issue for the course after extended periods of rain, you may encounter standing water & a course that's saturated - bring your waterproof shoes!
Great lesson experience with Barry! Was having problems hitting my irons and in literally 10 seconds he told me what was wrong. We worked on correcting the issues and he gave me some great drills to help. Highly recommend Barry’s expertise!
This place is a joke, at least in the last two seasons. Don’t bother setting a tee time because there will be 5-6 groups waiting at the first tee box. This may be a great course for beginners but the scheduling/spacing of tee times is so out of sorts. Carts are also first come first serve most of the time regardless of whether you booked one over the phone. For the price of 18, you’d be better to play anywhere else in the area. Won’t return.
Amazing venue, great team. We have had multiple events at the Liftlock and all of them have been a 10/10. From the friendly staff, incredible food and awesome location — it is second to none. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to host a party, have an dinner party or golf.
I enjoyed my first round on the course. I’m a beginner golfer and liked the mix of short-long par 3s and 4s. It would be nice if hole 9 finished back at the clubhouse, but it’s a shorter course so playing all 18 holes really isn’t an ordeal even for someone who can rarely make par. The driving range is also great. Some of the greens are in rough shape.
Staff are amazing. Food is great. Held an event there and ever detail was addressed and it turned out better than ever. Thanks to Brian and all the staff. Kudos
Liftlock is a par 60 course it's maintenance has come a long way from what it was a couple years ago. However tonight I had a tee time at 5 o'clock and was supposed to be joined by someone. When I got to the first tee off there were 2 groups waiting, one group on the tee block and another group on that green it's a par 3 there was no starter and I had no idea what was going on with guy that was supposed to join me. I finished the 1st hole at 5:30 and then was waiting behind 2 groups again at the second hole. After waiting 10 more minutes at the second tee block I decided to leave and ask for a refund. I did get another round on the house but it ruined my night for golfing since I had no time to go somewhere else. I wouldn't care if it was as cheap as it use to be but I paid 50.50$ for 18 with cart on Wednesday at 5 o'clock. That's the price of a par 72 with a cart so I'd expect some level of organization and maybe a starter/Marshall to help things along. It was also ladies night which I was only informed of upon arrival. I hope this is resolved I really like playing this course but for that price it's gotta be better.
Course is okay, tiny little track with people scattered everywhere. Don't lose a shot right or left or you'll hot someone in another fairway.
We frequent this course! We absolutely love the staff and we can literally play 18 in 2 hours. The only issues we have come to recently is allowing groups of more than 4 up to 8 sometimes we have seen. We have had to do a lot of waiting for over booking. Last time I got the last spot but wasn't told that there was 2 groups of 5-7 in front of us. We paid for 9 holes but could only play 7 because it was pitch black. I also will say its highly over priced for the condition of the course and the reputation of it. Other then that great! We played at least 15x this year because you can always get in!
