Great Doctor and great staff! Awesome place to go if you have children on Medicaid.
The worest optometrist ever. Poor service. I went to this place for glaucoma check up and they did their things and they told me they will call me for the result.I waited one week and went to their office. The lady in the front desk told me since the doctor is not here today ,we will call you Wednesday. I waited for ever. Now it is two months. No letter no call. Don't waste your money by visiting this place.
Wonderful staff! Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Both Dr. Naugle and Dr. Murray are very personable Doctors who make it very clear that they truly care. Lifetime Optometry rocks! Highly recommended. The front desk ladies were sure to make sure my insurance worked out so I wouldn’t have to pay out of pocket before I went back for the exam. Then they were so kind to help me pick out glasses that fit my face and actually looked good. Additionally, I went back for a Contact Lens exam and Shannan was very helpful! She helped me get them in and out in no time!
I love this place. The doctor is so caring and truly puts in an effort to make sure you are satisfied. The front staff helped me pick out my glasses and they were so helpful and honest. Also the receptionist has a wonderful personality and made my day with her bubbly attitude. Thank you lifetime
I received great service here, from getting help choosing a pair of glasses to really exceptional care in working through some billing/insurance issues. I didn't expect to be treated so well after even my first visit.
I have been going to Lifetime Optometry for over 10 years, possibly closer to 15. The front desk is generally very nice and friendly from my experiences with the exception of a bad apple here and there. The office got new flooring and looks very nice. There is also an iPad to fill out now which I prefer over the dry erase and before that paper forms. There are lots of great frames to choose from too and they range in price so you definitely have options. One of my favorite things about this office is Dr Murray - he's the best! I always leave feeling like I understand what he was looking for and what happened. He's very thorough, gentle and kind! Thanks for another great experience! :
I’ve been going to the office for about 3 years. Previous reviews point out office staff. What they haven’t outlined is how amazing the doctor is that you see. When ever I go in he makes me feel like I’m sitting at his dinner table more than his exam chair. When there is an issue with anything I have received a call from the Doctor not his staff. I highly recommend this business, plus he current has an amazing office staff but I personally never had a bad experience in the past.
The doctor is sufficient at his job and decent at customer service. The reason for the low review is his staff. First they totally screw up my order of contacts and glasses by ordering only half the contact order, and not ordering glasses. After about a month and having to go in and show them my receipt they finally get the glasses ordered. Then when the glasses came in they were the wrong ones. I actually said screw it and took them home anyways because I have no faith that they could get the order correct with a second shot. Then I get a bill for $12 in the mail because the wrong glasses they ordered were 12 dollars more expensive then the ones I actually ordered and paid for. Well you can bet that they will never see there 12 dollars considering these are NOT the glasses I ordered. Then to top it all off when I run out of contacts at 6 months because they only ordered half of what they should have I decide I am not going to give them anymore money and order online. When the web site calls them they tell the retailer that my prescription has expired, and I need to come in and get re-examined. You can bet that I will never step foot in that office again, and I will bad mouth them at every chance I get. One can only hope that the doctor finds more competent people to operate the front desk.
I have been in the Boise area for 6+ years and have never been disappointed or let down. Each receptionist is always helpful and has treated me like a loyal patient. Dr Murray is great at what he does and I’ll always use lifetime optometry as my primary optometrist!
I have been getting my daughter's glasses here for about 3 years. I always got the warranty for the lenses she is 5 yrs old now. For 2 years I have been able to replace her lenses when they get scratched for $14 s & h fee. I would replace the lenses 2 or 3 times a year she was 3, 4 and 5 years old. Up until Feb 2018. I called to get her lenses replaced right before her appointment and when the yearly warranty would expire so she would have a spare pair. I put in the order, waited 3 weeks which was not uncommon for it to take that long then called to see what was going on. Well, they were never placed by that time it was after the warranty period. Talked to the manager who was not very nice about it and accused me of never paying for the warranty on top of never putting in the order for them. He asked for a screen shot of my calls which I sent to him. He stated that my call log did not have the year. Sensing his attitude, I chose not to hunt through my Verizon bill. I know it would have been a waste of my time. Long story short, my insurance allowed her replacement lenses with current prescription by this time the warranty was up by several weeks for free. I will never do business here again. I feel sorry for the Dr. I have never met him or no about his services but I do know that his office staff is not doing him any good. The most frustrating part is dealing with a manager whom does not take responsibility for not training his employees. He stated in an email "It was a very unethical way to do warranties and cost the doctor thousands in replacements he knew nothing about." Unethical of who? I had no idea the warranty was for one pair per year. for 2 years it was not that way. I hope the Dr. does well and wish him the best of luck. Believe it or not this review is the short story. LOL
