Lifelong Thrift is donation-based a nonprofit thrift store in the heart of Seattle's Capitol Hill. Lifelong's deeply-rooted community efforts led to the founding of the thrift store. All donated items fund our work empowering people living with HIV/AIDS and other chronic conditions to lead healthier lives.

Stumbled in here on accident one day after catching glimpse of the HIV testing posters (being curious why a thrift store would have these posters). I ended up leaving with three fantastic sweaters I have been needing for some time, but just assumed I'd have to look through a few department stores first. The clothing racks are much more well-organized and higher-quality than is typical at the average thrift store, and I love the "queer community center" atmosphere and nice employees.

I love this place. Friendly staff, large selection of stuff to choose from, and much better prices than the nearby goodwill. There's always something new and interesting here, and there tends to be lots of cool video game stuff downstairs. Daily deals make the thrift store even thriftier, and knowing my money is going to a good cause is always a big bonus.

Always stocked with the most interesting items and the staff couldn't be nicer. I've gotten lots of handmade pottery, furniture, a cool lamp, and art from here.

Thank you lifelong. Stand strong and keep doing what you're doing. The prices vary greatly so do your homework and be a good consumer when buying items. This shop seems a bit higher priced at first but if you know what you're buying I guarantee you you will never be 'ripped off' here.
