I have yet to have a bad experience at this location. I am always treated kindly and with a smile. People in this field are under a lot of pressure and stress. It is actually a very stressful job. I also noticed that some people who come in are not very kind to some of the techs who work here. They are under pressure to take care of each person who comes in within a very short time period. I really feel like people need to be a little bit more understanding when coming here. Thank you for being the best location I have been to and I come from the city.
Came in for an appointment and the one individual at the desk completely ignored me for about 15 minutes while I stood there to check in on time for my appointment.nLuckily, there was a nice tech who came to help me, as she noticed I’d been there for a while.nnI wasn’t aware I couldn’t get certain bloodwork done at this location; when I explained what the requisition was for, the rude tech laughed in my face and then proceeded to do her own thing.nThe polite tech explained I’ll have to figure something else out and in the midst of her talking, the rude tech completely interrupted her without any regard that we were in the middle of a conversation.nnIt looks like other reviews mention this same individual. Management would be wise to have a chat with her.
Always had a great experience here in this smaller lab! The techs have been wonderful and friendly, and explained procedures and extra costs required. I'm so glad I just have to drive up the hill to Life Labs Petawawa!

Been here quite a few times and this most recent time I was met with attitude from the minute I stepped inside. I was told they can’t do my appointment that day appointment was booked 7 days prior and that Pembroke would be in “worse” shape than they are. She told me to come back tomorrow like it’s just so easy for people to clear their schedules? I’m more often than not met with this as an Answer and it’s unacceptable that it is happen more than it’s not I’m not sure of the solution but sure enough they should be able to find one such as not taking so many walk ins if you can’t honour your scheduled appointments first because being provided with the answer “we have too many people and one of our patients needs two people for a blood draw” isn’t sufficient. A solution would be fantastic so people don’t have to continue having this happen to them. This is the fifth time I’ve booked appointment they can’t honour. Don’t waste your time, energy, or gas money coming to this location. If you can get your bloodwork done in Ottawa that’s probably for the best they are far more consistent and the lab techs are far far nicer.
