We went today for bloodwork for two of our autistic children.nWe made an appointment so did not wait longer then 5 mins and the staff was so accommodating.nHaving kids on the spectrum we’ve dealt with professionals that have trouble dealing with them, that is our norm. But the ladies at life labs were so amazing! At check in I told them we probably will need a room with a bed, and they got both our kids in the same room even though their appointments were booked 5 mins apart. The technicians were so incredibly professional from the minute they entered the room. They helped us prepare the kids and instructed us how to help calm and hold them and they were so incredibly patient with my kids.nWe have dealt with a lot of medical professionals, and some that just didn’t care or want or understand how to accommodate. But the ladies today made it a seamless process that they were going to do everything they could to get the job done and to make it go smoothly. And it was so appreciated! I know this specific life labs gets a lot of upset clients because of the older demographic they don’t know to book online and the wait is long for walk ins, but that has absolutely nothing to do with the amazing service and respect they give their clients! I know my kids were probably the hardest clients of the day but the technicians acted like they were pros at dealing with kids with special needs! They also accommodated last minute I wasn’t able to call ahead to warn them that we may need special treatment because of labour day but it wasn’t even an issue or concern.nThank you life labs!!
Why bother with making an appointment when you still have to wait in line with everyone just to check in then if you can get a seat wait longer before your name is called. Which if your name is called and your in the hall waiting you can't hear it! And if you miss it you have to either re book or wait longer with walk ins !!!! Rediculous.
Always feel comfortable here. The lab techs are always gentle and caring. For someone like myself who is afraid of needles they make me feel relaxed and comfortable.
Really really really slow….. the receptionists spent more time away from the desk than at it. There were five people in line in front of me and after twenty minutes they had processed two. It’s a good thing I wasn’t in a hurry as it took almost an hour just to hand in my requisition. Just abysmal service.
I am in life labs right now and Just witnessed a lady who works here that draws blood yell at an elderly lady coming out the bathroom door who didn’t know how to get out the door, she comes storming out the cubical #1 yelling at her to use the button that’s what the bottom is for, so stern so rude and so unprofessional. This is health care, if you can’t be a nice, caring, compassionate health care professional. FIND A DIFFERENT LINE OF WORK. especially to and elderly lady on a walker. You should be ashamed of yourself. July 17th at 2pm ish …Management, speak to this lady.nHer Name is Sarah!
