This is hands down the best Life Labs I have ever been to! I book all my appointments here online and it is easy and convenient, but the 5 stars go straight to the team. Sandra is the nicest human and the BEST at taking blood - I have had blood drawn hundreds of times in my life and yet I’m still very needle phobic, but she always puts me at ease, makes me smile, accommodates my needs lets me lie down, and makes my day. She always remembers my husband and I and we leave happy. Truly, she is an Angel on earth and deserves a raise/ promotion/ everything good in life!! Thank you Sandra
I have had multiple appointments here and nothing to complain about. They are specifically good with kids.
This place is horrible. Very small waiting area, not enough staff members to deal with the patients. Today the receptionist made me wait for over 15 minutes and then she started calling people with appointments even though some of them had more than enough time for the appointment. Finally another staff member took my info and handed me the test to be done at home. Did not even take a minute. Obviously upsettting !!!
I visited this lab at 10:00 AM to provide a blood sample for testing and submitted my request by 10:10 AM. The receptionist instructed me to return in 30 minutes, which I confirmed would work for me. However, when I arrived back at 11:05 AM, I noticed that almost everyone ahead of me was still waiting.nnI asked the receptionist how much longer I would need to wait, and she told me she had no idea. When I pressed for how many people were in front of me, she said there were eight and that it could take over an hour. This was particularly frustrating since my test required fasting, and as a diabetic and heart patient, I had already fasted for 12 hours. I needed to fast until 1:00 PM, but with no clear timeline, I was increasingly concerned.nnI requested my health card and request form back, but instead of complying, the receptionist began writing on my form, stating their limitations regarding the tests and advising me to consult my doctor. I clarified that I simply wanted my documents returned, not an explanation of their services and told the receptionist that as I already requested that I am leaving, so please return my documents instead of explaining to me that you don't do this test or that and writing on my request form. Feeling ignored and frustrated, I decided to leave, departing around 11:20 AM without having submitted my blood sample.nnThis was the worst experience I’ve had in Canada, characterized by poor communication and inadequate customer service. I hope my feedback encourages improvements for future patients.
They were beyond rude, especially when trying to figure out how long the wait was. Very disrespectful and not accommodating, go to a different life labs if you can.
