Beautiful library located in the Beauport district. There is ample parking and traffic is good. There isn't really a study room. There is a children's section. There is also a superb exhibition hall which offers a varied program throughout the year. The library is easy to access by major roads.
I really enjoy reading in this library
I would have liked to give no stars, but I have no choice. The principle of a library is to be in a silent and peaceful space. How come employees are the major source of noise and traffic in this library? Whispering seems to be hard for them. What is more pathetic is that when I asked them to speak less loudly, they told me that it is not their fault but the structure of the library which makes the sound too loud. This is unacceptable coming from employees who are supposed to remain silent and calm in the library. I hope this problem will be fixed and this library will act normally like all the others. A zoo is calmer.
Too bad not to give 5 stars because the place is great for studying and doing school work. On the other hand, the two ladies who work there speak so loudly that at the back of the library, we hear them. mention to the people who work there that a library is a place of calm and not a place to laugh loudly and talk about your fds. As long as that, I will do my work at home...
Great library for adults and children. Lots of activities and a full room reserved for children. The hours are perfect and a room is available to make phone calls or chat in a group.
