I went to several book stores in Gatineau to find French language books for second language learners and this is the only place where I found some. The staff are very polite, nice and customer oriented. If they don't have a book you are looking for, they will order it for you. I am very happy and satisfied with their service
Fast and great service, elementary school stuffs available in store and online, the price are higher than Staples but I guess they are good quality. Parking available.
Very well organized, all you need for back to school season, staff very busy but willing to assist with questions or finding things.
Great book selections , everything stationary needed. The sales person , went above and beyond to find the title I was looking for.
Very nice people, very helpful
I went to get school supplies with a very complicated list in French that i was struggling to understand when a lovely, helpful and very kind staff member named Sabrina helped me out and found everything on my long list and translated it all for me. I couldn't have been more thankful then in that moment for her. She saved me so much time and saved me from my struggle with her care amd kindness. Thank you Sabrina you are the best!
Just loved this little place! Very well maintained and orderly with a friendly atmosphere. My kids are bilingual and my son is recently into some manga style books... certain ones he likes are only en Français, hence why we went there. We truly enjoyed the selection and it will be our place of choice in the future to shop for French books. Also, like Chapters, they have their own lovely gifts and knick knacks... The old Asterix toys gave me sweet nostalgia! Lovely place and it gets 5 stars from us.
This is the closest bookstore to my house and the staff is always really helpful. The location is much better than the previous location, but it's still in a strangely adapted building for a bookstore. I wish they would move in a more convenient location.
You are one of the only places where parents can go to pick up the mandatory school books for our children and to find that you are a charging a Covid tax/fee is appalling. You are making a profit off this situation and you should be ashamed of yourself no one else is charging a fee like that for goods. The more you buy the higher the fee too. Some parents are on a tight budget and can't afford this extra Covid fee of yours. So you're taking food off their tables to fill your pockets. Shame on you.
I went to buy some note pads for my work book and couldn't find any note pads or book beside a dozen of very nice leather book, more like journal style. Not the kind you would want for meeting notes. The book offer is amzing, It is after all a librarie.
