I have used Liberty Tax in Bowmanville for years. Wendy has prepared my taxes every year and she has always been extremely friendly. I know this seems like I should put 5 stars but since the new owner took over, the prices have gone up by exponentially. He has made it so expensive that there is no point in using Liberty tax any longer and he has created a very uncomfortable environment for workers and customers. I will never use Liberty Tax again, enjoy your price gouging and ripping people off.
Because the accountant was not competent enough to turn a page and notice I had 2 t4s I owe a significant amount to the government. When I said I had both stapled to my portfolio and she had copied both the best they could do is tell me they will cover the interest and a small credit. I fail to see why I'd go back to a place that has already screwed me over. When questioned further they simply said just go somewhere else. Never use this place!!!
I would recommend liberty Tax service in Bowmanville with one CAVEAT. Avoid the services of Donna like you would the bubonic plague. This woman is woefully incompetent with an apparent IQ not exceeding that of your garden variety houseplant! AVOID AVOID ! You"ve been warned.How this woman qualifies as a tax accountant is beyond my comprehension. That being said all the other staff are great and fully competent.
