Awesome Friday night fish fry!! My wife and I planned part of a vacation around being here Friday for their fish fry. The beer selection was as good as the fish!! A must visit!!
The food here was just a solidly tasty experience. I wouldn't doubt that everything on their menu is to a good quality. Not to mention, Jennifer D. seemed to be the only person serving besides the bartender with a packed house, and was handling it with grace and skill.
I live in Canada as an American. And I drive an EV. But I pretended to be a Canadian anyway because it's easier. Very much a locals bar and I walked in I could tell I got the side eye. No problem. I ordered a beer while I was charging, pretending like I had no idea about the politics they started chatting at me after they discovered I was "Canadian" after I showed the bartender my driver's license. They were absolutely shocked when I told them I drive an EV from DC to London, ON. And they were shocked at the price of it. About $50 for the entire trip, round trip. Great service, fun atmosphere, good locals.
Now that I have tried the wings with their special house sauce a couple times, I can proudly say these are my favorite wings I’ve ever had. Plenty of sauce and cooked perfectly. Their dessert of the day was grape pie, which I learned is a Finger Lakes favorite, and it did not disappoint. It was homemade and the grapes tasted as if they were freshly picked from the vineyard! Can’t wait until I’m sent down to Bath, NY again so I can enjoy the wings and pie! Having attentive wait staff is a bonus too!
They were busy on a Friday night, but the waitresses were working hard. The food was good. We both had fried fish, coleslaw and mac and cheese.
Not a bad place to visit. From the outside seems like a rowdy bar scene, however, once you get into the place and comfortable, it is still a bar scene, but a milder version that makes for a nice environment. The food was delicious, but nothing special. Prices are on par with what is expected around 10 to 15 dollars a dinner plate and mixed drinks are around 6 to 8 dollars a drink. The staff we had for us were pleasant and accommodating and we didn't really have anything really bad to mention about.
This place is fantastic. I ordered The blue burger and loved it , cooked exactly the way I like it. Also had a Guinness and it was superb. Definitely will go back.
Food was very good and so was the service. But it is as cold temperature wise and it's a small venue, which gets crowded. It can be loud and hard to hear people.
Only reason it's 3 stars is because I paid with cash and was still charged the credit card surcharge CC Surcharge. Asked about it and had it taken care of. Food is always good.
Smothered Southern Chicken a little custom, no peppers add mushrooms & grilled chicken Liberty sandwich. Fun sportsish barish cute homey friendly place! Everyone was so nice, service was very good and food delicious.
