The customer service was amazing. The lady was very helpful and kind. The drink was for my uncle and he liked it. The place was a bit crowded with a lot of stuff. It had too many things going on. The place we sat down was the only place I can see in the coffee shop that you can sit. It’s cozy but it is overwhelming at the same time. The music was really good. I will come back but not on everyday basis.
If a hoarder had a coffee shop, it'd be this one. I don't understand the piles of furniture and random stuff everywhere... While it didn't seem dirty, it didn't seem exceptionally clean either. The piles of things behind the counter, a display cooler near the register full of plastic and junk, packaged food items for their menu tucked all over the place, and an ancient cooler full of God-knows-what hidden under some janky silver insulation didn't really bring a sense of confidence that our drinks would be good. Coffee was maybe a 3 out of 5 for me... Atmosphere is enough to keep me from returning.
Local coffee spot with great music, paninis, local art, and AMAZING espresso!!! Owner has been making coffee in downtown Renton for over 20 years and she is an incredible lady. Cozy and fun spot, a must try if your in Renton WA!!!
Recent discovery for me, the owner was so welcoming, accomodating and kind. You can tell she really cares if you enjoy your drink. Prices are reasonable. The traditional macchiato convinced me that all the espresso drinks are definitely worth a try, and it's the best dirty chai we've had in the area. She makes her own blend! There's definitely nothing from a box or microwave here! Definitely coming back as much as possible. The environment isn't for everyone but that's fine by me. I love that the cafe supports local artists and doesn't have that cold corporate feel. A true gem in Renton for sure. Deb is the greatest! Coffee is delicious and the breakfast sandwiches with the jalepeno bagel are bonkers! Will definitely come again and recommend to anyone in the Renton area In need of a hot cup :
The coffee is always stellar, the sandwiches are to die for, and the service is amazing! We’re brand new to the area and we were immediately welcomed and treated like regulars by our second visit! Can’t wait to enjoy many Sunday mornings here! Perfect spot to grab coffee, settle into the cozy chairs, and read for a few hours.
Adding a bit more detail per owner's request. I came in on a Sunday morning to eat some breakfast and have coffee with friends. We ended up getting two breakfast sandwiches, a cup of soup, and two Americanos. The employee was helpful and willing make a breakfast sandwich even though they were out of sandwiches. It took a while to get our food. I think about 15 minutes. When we got there, there were no customers but people did start to come in when we were waiting for our food. The coffee and food was okay. The soup was a bit watery for butternut squash. Customer service was good, but food and drinks didn't seem to hit the mark. I will probably try and come back again.
December 2019– this place is still the best! Love it. Breve yum and bfast sandwich on jalapeño cheese bagel pressed to perfection! For the win. Support local Renton. A great place. Friendly and good paninis. Highly recommend a breve.
Excellent local owned business! Enjoyed delicious toasted and buttered banana bread with walnuts with a cup of hot chocolate outside, in nice sitting area while enjoying some sunshine. Owner operated, great service, lots of food and beverage options.Food: 4/5
Debbie is absolutely wonderful, kind, accepting, and open. She is the heart of what makes this café so awesome, but she also makes the most amazing food on top of that. Highly, highly recommend, and I would give six stars if I could!
