I had a very positive experience studying in the General Arts and Science program at Lethbridge Polytechnic. As an international student, I felt welcomed, supported, and respected throughout my academic journey. The instructors were knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely committed to student success.nThe program provided a strong foundation across different subjects and helped me develop critical thinking, communication, and academic skills. The campus environment is inclusive and student-focused, making it easier for international students to adapt and grow both personally and professionally.nI am grateful for the opportunities and support I received during my time at the college.
Lethbridge College is the best place to go to school for environmental sciences if you ask me. I took the bachelor of applied science in ecosystem management degree program and loved every minute. The hands on learning provided me and all my classmates with the tools to secure a job straight out of school. Everyone in my program has a great job and some of us still stay in touch. I’d recommend this school to anyone looking to have a memorable and positive experience while making lifelong friends.
David Duggan puts on an excellent course. Had a great experience during my Ag & HET. The teachers are great. I felt very prepared to enter the work force in my new field.
I would like share my terrible experienced in this institution. I enrolled this summer long term. I had to take 3 courses + practicum.nAt first i was so excited and full of courage because finally i can pursue my career as an educator level 2. Very eager to do and finish my assignments and exam on time for the first course which is English 1150. Later on, i found out that i had to take the 3 courses at the same time, it puzzled me because no one from the office told me about it. So i sent email to the instrucor of 2 courses and only one gave me consideration. The instructor in Psychology advice me to withdraw the course and take it next time since i missed already the unit 1 exam and other assignments. I was feeling so frustrated because i have to pay another $400 to take the course again. The school did not conduct orientation and walk through of their curriculum system. From my previous experienced from other school you have to finish the first course before jumping to another course. So i have no idea with their system since ther is no orientation at all. Very frustrating!
Lethbridge Polytechnic. This was my very first semester, and unfortunately, I had to withdraw from the course because I couldn’t secure an exam proctor. Despite reaching out to the school almost daily since May 7, 2025, and doing everything in my power to resolve the issue, I was met with no flexibility from the instructor or useful assistance from administration.what day is today - June 5, 2025 !!nnWhat’s worse is that when I completed the withdrawal form, I was verbally promised by both the person who helped me with the form and the finance department that I would be granted an exception due to the unique circumstances. I was clearly told I would receive either a full refund or a refund minus with no deductions .nnNow, after weeks of waiting and calling different departments—often being passed from one person to another with no clarity—I’ve been told I will only receive some amount which is far below what I was promised. I feel completely misled and ignored by the institution. I did everything right on my end, including consistent communication, multiple phone calls, and attempts to work with my instructor.nnAs a new student, I was genuinely trying to understand how things work, but instead, I faced confusion, lack of accountability, and broken promises. No one gave me clear guidance or a written follow-up, and I was constantly shuffled between departments.nnThis experience has left me feeling frustrated, disrespected, and financially strained. I strongly urge Lethbridge Polytechnic to re-evaluate how they treat students—especially those who are new and trying to navigate things responsibly. Right now, it feels like the system is designed to take students’ money without offering proper support.nnWould not recommend this institution based on how I’ve been treated.
