Mccabe is the worst social worker I've ever encountered. She lowers your self-confidence and you cannot look for a job because you don't believe in yourself.Instead of helping people this lady makes you depressed. Dear Management, please listen to reviews and take some action.
Please read all the other reviews, they're very well said. Yes, the WORST Ontario Works, employees are always late, cancel your appointment without notice, and trying to remove you from their system without a valid reason. Ms. Telus is the worst social worker I've seen. Never start on time, poorly organized, always have crazy ideas, extremely rude and absolutely not helpful.
When i pressed zero i believe Indian lady old doesn’t like to answer the phone and either hang up of pretend not to hear me while talking . If she is not happy with her job she can leave but by not helping people it is unfair for taxpayers to pay this lazy employee money.
worst Ontario Works building in Toronto. They put your account on hold and try to contact u once, if u miss it. oh well, u find out when its time to pay the rent and go get some food for the first time in days..... thanks for all your great work OW workers at this office. Also, they act like its money coming out of the workers pocket, which i pay my taxes and so did my parents and their parents. we paid into that money just as much as anyone else. I have had more problems at this office, then all the other offices put together. and again, more problems today with not having my money on time :S i am so upset with this office.
They make me stay in the shelter for 1year with 3 kids. The never approved any apartment I see, my case worker don't pick or return my calls. They forgot they're there to help people in need. There services is so disgusting.
You will need to ask about the list of benefits like Community or City services , Employment or training programs ,Other financial benefits offered by TESS e.g., special diet funds, housing funds, transportation support, Clothing ... you need to ask and keep following till you receive your benefits .
Positive experiences because the people I have interacted with are helpful, genuinely concerned, compassionate and amazing human beings. God bless!

Getting worse for employees, they gradually become perfunctory and like a liar!
