The renovation is nice & all but would it have killed you to put stairs to get into the scotiabank when you tore down the upstairs parking lot? Used to be able to go anytime you needed to, but now it's closed whenever the inside is closed. With such limited opening hours, those who work nights basically have no bank to go to bc you close by 5 or by 6, which is ridiculous. The hours are terrible & the poorly thought out & executed tearing down of the old structures really make me doubt the mall's longevity. Less parking isn't going to help & neither is reducing hours. Also, store variety has really gotten worse.
I remember when this mall was actually a joy to come to and now it's like you don't even have cleaners . The washrooms are absolutely disgusting and the floors look like they have never been deep cleaned in years.
I have lived in the area for two decades, shopped here on plenty of occasions even with the limited number of stores. Last week I was ticketed in their lot by a shady company statpark. All i have to say is ticketing cars is ticketing customers, it will be a long time before a step foot in this mall.
They're trying to modernize the mall now to attract more people, but does it really have to open at 10am? It's a mall... It should open at least at 9am or even 8am for the food court. Lots of elderly people like to go there in the morning and they can't.
I've never seen incompetence as bad as I've seen at 1:57pm in econo fitness. There's a worker here who is cutting particular tiles in middle of packed gym. And for the past 4 day it's been crazy hot and you refuse to adjust temp in gym or u can't and won't spend money for a separate unit.
