Tip: If you would like to dine here, make a reservation at least a week in advance! I was visiting from Toronto with my mom and had been here a couple years ago, and wanted to show my mom this place. Though you can walk in and reservations are not required, they are strongly encouraged. When I went to book a reservation for Tuesday night on the previous Friday, everything was pretty much booked up for the entire week! I thought I wouldn't be able to reserve a spot but then magically a spot opened up at 9pm. It was a little late, but we didn't mind because we were exploring the city anyway. But if you do want an earlier reservation I suggest to book at least a full week out from the time you want to go. As for food, we got appetizers. They were good, like any average restaurant. The views were amazing and we were lucky to get a table by the window. Is this a place I would come every trip I go to Montreal? No. Is this a place I would bring someone who has never been to see the best views of the city, or a special occasion? Definitely yes.
I chose the romantic package to celebrate a year with my girlfriend. Here are the pros and cons! Pros: The service was very quick and great, the table was prepared prior to our arrival despite the fact I signed for the “romantic” package only a few hours before. They had put a rose on the table, with tiny red petals and a small bag of candies which I found to be a nice touch. The table was already prepared. The food was impeccable. The dishes were very flavourful, the presentation was beautiful, everything was wonderfully cooked. The lamb was delicious and so were both of the appetizers. As for the desert, the brownie was great. Cons: They guaranteed a seat by the window with a nice view which we sort of got. They sat us down on the side facing a building with less view, so we couldn’t see much. So technically, we paid for what other customers were getting for free and they were getting the better view. The other better side gave a whole view of montreal with the nice lights, which is what I had hoped to offer my girlfriend. The portions were very small. I was looking at other tables, people were getting much bigger portions for less than a fraction of the price. In my opinion, I would have gotten a much better value and the portions would have been a lot more generous if we hadn’t picked the romantic package. Most meals people were eating, were not on our menu. It’s two different menus for the package and the regular non package menu. Our menu did not have the most enticing options for the main dishes. If you have a big appetite, this is not the right option in my opinion. I told my girlfriend to make space for this the entire day as she’s in for a lot of food. But it did not fill us up the way we would have hoped. All in all, the service was great. The staff was extremely kind and greeted us nicely into the restaurant. The view is unique and the reason why I decided to go there. Only thing I would do different is go back without picking any package. Thanks for the experience!
My boyfriend surprised me with the romantic experience for dinner which was very cool. There's a designated romantics menu, options for entrees, main courses and dessert. It was very lovely. We found the portions smaller compared to the other plates we saw around. Quality of the food was on point. It was a great experience to have dinner in the sky:
This is my favorite spot for dinner after work, and although it was a bit confusing to find the first time, once you get the hang of it, it's easy to locate. You'll need to take the elevator and change it on the way up. For starters, we ordered fried calamari and Caesar salad, and I have to say, the Caesar salad is one of the best I've ever had. We also ordered roasted chicken supreme and grilled octopus, and both were equally delicious. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, which made the experience even more enjoyable. But what I loved the most was the fantastic view! It's a stunning sight to behold, especially during the evening. I highly recommend this place for a great dining experience.
Pretty good all in. Location, 44th floor is amazing. We got a great sunset. The sun was right in my eyes and I noted a few customers asked the service to lower the blinds, that didn't happen quickly, but other than that, no problem. Food was decent but not much better than your average pub. It was busy and friendly. I had a great time.
I think its one of the places you must see in Montreal. It is the highest resturant in Quebec and Montreal for sure, if you go near sunset time you will enjoy an amazing view of the city! Its also nice at night. Reservation is required way ahead of time to find a table. The indoor tables are nice as well. Service was great! And food was delicious too. I highly recommend it.
This is my first time back to Enfants Terribles. Going in was awkward with the construction zones. Then, met by a hostess who rolled her eyes every 30 seconds Talking about you, the blonde one with glasses. She must have been the less friendly hostess I have met in a while. Sorry, it lost some points for this. BUT… our waiter was great, the appetizers were very good. The calamari was cooked on point, oysters were fresh and tasty. My most memorable bite is the shepherd pie, really savory, the truffle oil touch was great! The view is needless to say! All in all, worth going.
The place is amazing, the ambiance and the view are very nice. Their food is delicious i tried the fried calamari, beef tartare, BBQ ribs and cheesecake! Every item was delicious and tasty. The staff is very friendly as well! Very good place for a date or for a small event with friends.
All the food was pretty good, I went with my dad and it was a great experience. We got the Calamari as an appetiser, then I got the Steak Frites and he got the Salmon. All the food was prepared well. In particular, the Calamari was some of the best I've had and the fries also had extraordinary flavor. The view was also amazing and the service was great. They were friendly yet professional and they spoke both English and French. I would recommend to anyone in the area.
Come for the view! The floor to ceiling windows give you a beautiful view of Montreal, and the terrace in the summertime is just wow!!! The ambiance and service are equally as amazing. The menu is honestly nothing special, pub/French brasserie-style food, but the experience as a whole is great! Make sure you reserve in advance.
