Excellent pizzas and pastries! Reasonable price and super friendly service. Enjoyed the Portuguese egg tart, chocolate cupcake and chocolate chips cookies, all enjoyable and fresh! They also offered to cut my pizza. Would love to try their homemade salads next time, all looked so good!!
The usual location that I go to is closed not sure if permanently or for renovation so I went to the Westminster one due to its proximity. From the moment I set foot in the store, the customer service left a lot to be desired. If the usual one I go to doesn’t reopen, then I’ll likely find a different bakery.
Cakes are good but service was not.
Everything thing here is always really great. The service is friendly and the prices are reasonable. I’m leaving a 5 review although I have one huge complaint about this place. The use of single use plastic is heartbreaking. I hope they consider more biodegradable packaging, I’d happily pay extra for it.
Great to eat in for a coffee or cafeteria style food that wont disappoint. I went for the beef meat pie but the lazagna was also good. There are some free samples sitting out to start your appetite. The cakes and pasteries are very well done. Definitely leave with somethig decadent. Staff waa wonderful.
I ordered a latte today. It was make in a very bad way! Super hot! I could exactly tell how he made it. Heat the milk in a boiling condition and dump into the expresso. I recommend either people get enough training or change the attitude how they should serve.
On the advice of a friend, I bought a whole Tiramisu cake from this bakery. Trust me absolutely nothing to do with the original tiramisu. Just biscuits, sugar and whipped cream. No mascarpone, no eggs. Far from being a true Italian tiramisu, it costs $35. For much less, get the same rubbish from Maxi. The good reviews are apparently from people who do not know the real taste of Italian confectionery at all. I am totally disappointed and will not buy from these amateurs any more.
The best patisserie I have discovered in town this far. If you try their delicious blueberry lemon cake or their ricotta and lemon cookies, you'll be delighted. Their savory foods are great too. You won't regret paying them a visit and trying their delightful menu.
I did not have anything yet at this location, but the cakes I’ve had from Lafrenaie at other locations were some of the best tasting cakes I’ve ever had! I tried the white and the dark chocolate cake and they were very rich and truly amazing!
Soup was really good! I think I had an Italian soup.
