Definitely one of those places you don't end up in until someone recommends it to you. Atmosphere is a bit lacking but the food is amazing. Best Thai spot in Charlottetown.Food: 5/5

I have been going to Lai Thai for at least 5 years now and I have never once been disappointed! The food is amazing with great flavour and just the right amount of spice that you ask for. The portions are fantastic and I always have leftovers for the next day! Also, I love the casual environment of the restaurant if I choose to eat in & the family who owns this place have always been so pleasant! I highly recommend Lai Thai if you’re looking for some great Thai food!

I ordered a veggie pad thai and veggie spring rolls and found chicken in my veggie pad thai after eating a bit. I am dissapointed and will not be returning.
Recently moved to Charlottetown and was looking for a new Thai restaurant - thought I would give this place a try. Was somewhat disappointed. And while the quantity was very generous and the meal was reasonably priced, my red curry chicken was quite grainy and curdled - like they had used coconut milk way past the expiry date. It also lacked some of the seasoning that you normally get in a traditional Thai curry dish like lemongrass, ginger and coriander. Think I will be trying one of the other options in town for my next attempt.
