Lunchtime on a Sunday, they were very busy as expected, but I was not in a rush. The waitress was very nice and my coffee was refilled regularly. The portion size to price is fair. I’m glad to have a Coney Island closer to home now. They use 401 spray cleaner to sanitize the booths and tables, which is strongly scented. I didn’t enjoy the fragrance with my dining experience. I couldn’t smell the food at the table until we had it in to go containers for leftovers and got up to leave. I would recommend eating here.
Great atmosphere; love the large windows for natural lighting, good balance between modern yet classic decor, and the TVs are a nice plus. Friendly staff; quite speedy. Food tasted great. Price was as expected - nothing to race about, but not robbery either. I've seemed to notice that it's packed for breakfast and lunch, but less so for dinner and certainly even less as you get closer to closing time.
I used to be very pleased with my food here particularly breakfast. But the last three times I ordered breakfast it have been missing something which makes the meal disappointing. My coworkers and Iike to order breakfast allot ..but lately there have been many mistakes.. When I called today to resolve and issue, I was told I would be given a refund by one person..only to have the nasty female manager get in the phone and say.. That they would only re cook my food if brought back and not a refund. She said that customers try to get free food all the time??? What does that have to do with me I told her I could not come back at time because I physically couldn't be there. She was very unprofessional and had a ghetto persona. I guess it is too much to ask when have ordered coffee, toast, to get sugar or cream or even jelly. And if you want something added or taken away, you probably won't be able to get it done correctly. But you will be charged for these items, even though you didn't receive them. The reason I decided to do this review is because the female manager hung up on me. The cooks seem to do a great job the food always looks great! But the servers and the front management make the service VERY DISAPPOINTING to say the least.
Do not get the club sandwich it was so gross!! The turkey taste like raw meat and it was so moist. The bacon wasn’t cooked all the way it felt like I was biting into raw bacon. The cashier asked how my food was and I told her that my sandwich wasn’t good and all she had to say was “oh sorry”.
Ordered over 60 dollars in food through a delivery app. The restaurant only processed a third of the order missing 2 whole meals. When I called to speak to a manager, I was told he was on another call and to busy to talk to me. When I said I would wait, I was told he wouldn't take the call. The girl who answered the phone told me to reach out to the app I ordered through, even though she admitted it was their error!!! Do yourself a favor and choose literally any where else to eat!! Support restaurants that actually care about treating customers well.
I actually really like this place, the food is great for a Coney Island and the staff is extremely friendly. My problem is that I caught a glimpse of a sign in the kitchen saying “NO CELL PHONES if you are caught on your cell phone, you will be sent home and your day will be cut” Really? This is a Leo’s Coney Island not the Navy. Management that leaves passive aggressive signs up is a red flag. Your workers are human, they’re going to check their phone, send a quick text, or make a quick phone call. I do not mind one bit as a customer as the employees are humans not slaves. This just put a horrible taste in my mouth and made me feel bad for all the young staff working in there as I worked in the food industry as a teenager and know exactly how management like that is. Do better.
If there were a 0 star that would be what i rate this facility. Its a coney island, what could go wrong, yes but this coney island figured it out. This is our 2nd experience with this restaurant and will not give it a third. Our first experience was a carry out and it ended with me getting a refund and them asking me to leave. The reason is I asked what was taking so long as well as questioning why others were in and out. Tonight my husband and I decided to try it once again but as a dine in. What a mistake. The service was horrible. Our waitress was not very friendly and forgot silverware. Our food was not correct when it was brought to us. We had to ask another waitress to get our check. The restaurant wasnt very clean. I definately wouldn't waste your time nor money at this restaurant.

Worst service ever. No one smiles at you. No one is friendly. My order is always wrong. I gave this place 3 tries because it's the closest to my house and all three times have been a disappointment. They never apologize for messing up. It was not even busy. They need to close this place down. I'm tired of this place. I will never come here again.
I enjoy going here. It's fast paced so the staff isn't too personal but that's the kind of restaurant that it is. The food is always fresh and the desserts are amazing!! Vegetarian options: The lemon rice soup is amazing. I like to get the stir fry with all veggies and of course the salads are out of this world
