Great place to stop over on the way to Sydney. The scenic drive to the museum was nice and they did excellent job to preserve the history. Many interesting items old school, kitchen, blacksmiths house etc and stories you can discover. They solely run by donation so ensure to prepare some cash for donation. The staff were amazing!!
We really enjoyed our stop here, including a great chat with Richard the blacksmith as he was wrapping up a project for a group of visiting school children. Staff was super friendly and helpful, plus we picked up some used books at a great price up in the shop!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure

It was an amazing experience to use a 200+ year old forge. Richard was a very knowledgable, enthusiastic instructor. Taking the blacksmith class is well worth it...a once in a lifetime experience.
Very interesting. Tour was great. Genealogy help from staff was very useful in my search for maternal great grandparents. Many thanks!
What a wonderful place for a rustic style wedding!Visited onWeekend
