Was told that if I made my overdue payments on the phone yesterday that they would defer payments for the month of July. Only to be told after the payments were made that it couldn't be done right away. Next day I get passed around to about 8 different people who have no idea what they're doing and just get left on hold. They're quick to take their money for sure, but ACTUALLY providing customer service? Not part of the deal. They don't take the needs of their customers seriously.
I can’t express how pleased I was with Jelisa from the customer service department. She was incredibly helpful, patient, and thorough in answering all my questions, something I didn’t experience with other agents. Her professionalism and attention to detail truly stood out, and she made me feel heard and valued as a customer. She even sent me a follow up email with all the details I needed for what I was calling about. LendCare needs more customer service representatives like Jelisa! Can’t thank her enough!
Having purchased a vehicle from a dealership, the previous owner had financed it through LendCare. Two years later, I wish to sell the vehicle, which I have since paid for in cash. However, I have discovered that a lien remains on the vehicle, and LendCare has not removed it. The dealership has provided documentation indicating they sent the payment to LendCare shortly after my purchase.nnUpon contacting LendCare to request the removal of the lien and a confirmation letter, I was informed that the letter would be sent to the original financing party. They also mentioned that the lien would no longer appear on my CarFax report after 20 business days.nnConsequently, I am currently unable to sell or transfer ownership of my vehicle due to this situation with LendCare.
Terrible experience. Scam you by taking extra payments by “accident” and make it nearly impossible to be refunded. They have no issues or difficulties receiving payments taking your money but when it comes to giving back the money they’ve stolen it’s quite the process. This has happened multiple times and takes typically a month at least to be resolved after being passed around, transferred to different departments, staff and being put on hold. Don’t get involved if you have the option not to. Best of luck to everyone dealing with the same issues. Shameless.
Updated*This company is terrible!! I have a car loan for $6000 and in December, I sent an etransfer of $3000. The payment has not been applied to my account! Where is my 3000 dollars?? Over 2 months, and $3000 just in limbo. Customer service tells me to call back..twice now! I just spoke to someone who said I needed to send proof. I told her I had already and then she said oh yes I see it now! And unfortunately my has proof been passed on to the correct department and they haven't applied it. I asked to speak to that department and that department doesn't speak to customers! What a disconnected business, seems they can't reconcile payments or do anything to help. I will pay off the rest of the loan, if they ever figure out how to apply my payment and give me a final pay-out amount.nThis is the second time dealing with EasyHome/LendCare, and both times have been a terrible experience and I will NEVER use them for anything again. I also will not recommend this company to anyone.nUpdate: just got off the phone a very rude customer service person. She wouldn't listen..just kept talking over top of me. And $3000 payment I transfered, has still not been applied to my account! I've spoken to 3 different people and been assured it would be straightened out. Of course I'm to blame!! I'm at my wits end and don't know where to turn.
