I have been here a few times with my friends for lunch and dinner. The portion is generous and able to fill-up your craving. You can ask for more spicy if you want more kick for the food. The paid parkings are available around the area with minimal walk to the restaurant. I will come back for other occasions.
Excellent location and service. Outdoor seating on a sunny afternoon is recommended. Had ordered beer - Radler & Koselig, carrot soup Bangkok curry & Red curry , both were served with white rice. The food was good though the carrot soup was high on Sichuan chili oil so took away a star for that! We had parked a little further from the market square near Dollarama. The town was not crowded as we visited after the circuit breaker measures ended this weekend.
Great atmosphere food was amazing one of the best burgers I have had in a while, with a perfect amount of spice with a habenaro aioli. If you ask for hot curry bring a sweatband for this dish. Thanks for the laughs Mike.
Food is always excellent. Lots of spice without losing the flavour. Staff is always accommodating and attentive. Had a large group there last night and the waiter, Ryan, went above and beyond to ensure we were all well cared for.
Visiting Saint John on a staycation, we chose this restaurant as it was close to our hotel and looked like it was popular given the number of people inside. Covid protocols were in place and plexiglass screens separated the tables. Our server was quite friendly and explained all the specials. I started with a cocktail call “Don’t Ride the Elephant” ... basically a mojito with lemongrass. It was good but rather expensive like most of the alcohol here. That said, beer was on special that night and there was a good selection. We both started with a soup. Lemongrass seems to be an ingredient in most dishes and the soup was no different. It was rather disappointing however to find a plastic spoon. C’mon, not something you would expect here. My spouse opted for a curry dish but it was rather watery and not what she expected. I opted for “bar snacks” option. Basically it was a list of 8-10 small plates, not unlike Spanish tapas. Each dish was a fixed price - $8 per plate I think. This was a really nice option as you had a variety of different tastes. Some were a little cold suggesting they might have sat a while before being served. We ordered a wine which cost $52. It was interesting to see how much restaurants gouge you on alcohol. The wine cost ~$25 in the liquor store. We had the same wine at each place we stayed that week. At the Italian by Night it was $42 which was surprisingly nice given the quality of that restaurant. $62 at the Algonquin Inn in St. Andrews and a whopping $80 at the Delta Fredericton... almost 400% markup which was unnecessary. All in all, a nice meal despite some small criticisms. I would return. Please give a thumbs up if you found this useful.
We came here for our anniversary with high expectations based on the reviews. We ordered the ginger beef, money bags, garlic naan and the drunken noodles. The ginger beef was so salty it was almost inedible as were the noodles. I'm only giving two stars because the garlic naan and money bags were quite good. I'm sad to say that we will not be back.
Loved the food and the ambiance in the patio. The staff is helpful and friendly. I highly recommend trying fried Brussels Sprouts. Too bad I couldn't take a picture. They were gone so quickly. My kids, who don't eat Brussels Sprouts, loved it. Best part was that we could take our dog with us as it is pet friendly patio.
Staff were very friendly and the food was amazing and served super fast and hot! Great craft beer selection. Huge portions.
Fantastic food, generous portion sizes and original recipes you wont find anywhere else. The kitchen staff clearly take pride in their work which is shown by the high level of consistency found with every order. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable bar tenders and wait staff who are more than happy to offer information on menu items. They have a large selection of craft beers from New Brunswick and across Canada. Enjoy a seat in their beautiful dinning room or the boardwalk patio located in the heart of Uptown Saint John. The owners have cultivated something special with this local gem. Truly a must visit for anyone coming to Saint John or locals looking to try something new.
Nice place to observe the live concerts right outside side the heated patio. Wait service very attentive to our needs. The dishes were pretty spicy, surprisingly. Located in the lower levels of the mall.
