We came here with Friends for bowling and had a great time. Special mention the staff was very friendly and welcoming. All our vaccine proofs were throughly checked and all equipment were sanitized with detail. Very impressed to see the team following these meticulously. Felt safe. The prices were reasonable too and place nicely maintained.Please like my review if you find it helpful.
We had a great networking social at Leisure Lanes with our local Whitby BNI Momentum group recently! Our group really enjoyed Rock n' Bowl and is looking forward to coming back again! We booked a lane for the late session 9:30pm because we didn't realize how quickly the 7pm reservations book up. I'd recommend booking early to guarantee you get the lane time you want :
The alley itself was very good and well kept, the shoes were good, prices were fair. Bowling experience itself was good. Unfortunately, the elderly lady at the bar was so grumpy and made ordering drinks such a painful interaction. You can't just buy drinks for your group here, each individual person has to go up and present themselves for age verification prior to drinks being given, all the while she scoffs at you and makes faces. No normal place has these kinds of policies, it just feels so unnatural. If you do visit, save yourself the pain and don't purchase any drinks from the bar, it's just not a good experience. If it were not for that one lady, the experience would be 5/5.
I want to commend the amazing customer service at Leisure Lanes. We arrived with a very large group on an incredibly busy night and the staff were very accommodating and considerate. I would absolutely recommend this place for anyone looking for a great family night. Affordable, friendly and clean. We'll be back!
This is quite frankly the worst bowling alley i’ve been too, i really don’t know what other people are saying about the friendly customer service because the person taking care of the lane was rude and disrespectful. He gave an unfriendly attitude and retaliated when we express concerns about the malfunction of the alley sat behind our lane and watched up the whole time like we are criminals or babies that need supervision. To give a completely honest review we did use two bowling balls 1 time but even then there’s no need to be disrespectful and give an attitude at the end of the day we are paying for this service and as was not told to not use two balls at the same time. Once they did mention it to us the person told us and this is in their words “don’t”, is he incapable of using full sentences i really don’t know. Overall ruined our night and the experience, highly do NOT recommend and will never be returning.
Had fun bowling at Leisure Lanes. Prices seemed high and they were understaffed in the snack bar area. The staff who were working were lovely. Would go again.
Had a great experience with family celebrating my daughter's bday! We all forgot how much fun bowling is!! Very clean, lots of room, and laughs for everyone!
My boyfriend and I have been going to Leisure Lanes since 2016 and it’s by far our favourite bowling alley to go to. Michael, Stephen & Ryan are just simply attentive, friendly and amazing - so is the rest of the staff!! They always give the best customer service and makes sure you’re having a great time. Amazing prices and great weekly specials! We had to stop going for a little while when Covid-19 hit but once they reopened, we made a visit right away. Now that there are restrictions and protocols, Leisure Lanes really makes sure to put their customers safety first. From vaccine screening, consistent cleaning of common areas or social distancing between the lanes, we felt so safe here that we’ve brought more family members to bowl with us every week! The kids love going here not just for bowling but for the little arcade games they have. This place is kid-friendly and just overall great no matter how old you are! 10/10 recommend this bowling alley. It’s a great atmosphere regardless if it’s date night or family night. It’s always a great time at Leisure Lanes!
If you are looking for a good place to play bowling with family and friends and no arcade games this is the place. We have tried other bowling places but our boys end up playing arcade games and we wanted just bowling. I called in advance and I liked that they changed their voicemail with info for the day. They called me back and were very polite. Great Bowling place
Great place to spend an hour or 2. We frequently take the kids to pass some time. Reasonably priced and friendly staff.
