Aside from a single visit, I have always had a great experience visiting Lee Valley. It is amazing seeing so many high-end and professional-grade tools in once place, being able to hold a tool and feel the solid quality in your grip is awesome. The staff have recommended alternatives to their own products being sold at other places, which to me shows they care more about customers than turning a profit. The fact that they work closely with Veritas to provide quality products is really cool because in every step of the products development they can ensure quality to the highest degree. Have never made a major purchase but everything purchased has been very good.

Love this place. Super helpful and knowledgeable staff, they have everything to do with woodworking you can imagine, and then some. Prices aren't amazing for everything, but they make up for that by having odd ball things you can't find just anywhere. It's worth a look anyway.

Lee Valley is an amazing company and this location is great. The staff are friendly and knowledgeble. The selection of items is top-notch and they only sell high-quality products. If you are looking for tools, parts and accessories that will last for years, Lee Valley is the place to go.

This place is horrible. They have no staff to help you. They are overpriced. Everything is locked up in cases. You have to take a number just to ask if they sell the item you're looking for. The few people that do work there have no clue what they're selling and are argumentative if you prove them wrong and ignorant. I actually heard a staff member argue with a customer and then change the price of the item up be $15. This place also has a creepy vibe when you're in there. I will never go back.

Quality staff. Quality tools. Great customer service. Not the most affordable but sometimes you have to pay for quality.
