I visited Leduc Recreation Centre last weekend to see the Black Gold Rodeo. Great event, there was a fairground outside, and the Rodeo was on a converted ice rink inside the stadium.nnReally impressed with the size of the centre given Leduc is a relatively small town, Rodeo was well organized, great evening's entertainment.
Very nice facility. Great kids section, nice big hot tub. Family change room was very busy, wish they had more lockers. The water slide doesn’t let kids go down with parents but the kid section has great slides they can go on alone.
We were there for a Hockey Tournament, dressing rooms were clean and spacious, ice was flooded after every two periods. They need to put a coffee place in there. DQ's coffee is overpriced and not very good.
There are lots of things to do. Especially watching family play hockey and going swimming. They have a great Pro Rodeo in the spring, too. Along with great trade/craft shows throughout the year.
Great pool with lots of activities for people of all ages. I appreciate the amount of work the lifeguards do to keep the aquatic facility clean. You can see them working hard whenever we go. My daughter loves the playground in the leisure pool!
