We were staying in Leduc for the weekend and went to the pool for open swim Sunday afternoon and then again Monday morning. We loved it. Such a nice pool. The waterslide was perfect for my 6 yr old, and kiddie area was super fun for my 3 yr oldand my 6 yr old loved it too The hot pool near the kids area was amazing. We didn't go in the lap pool or the hot tub. The lifeguards were all really great, especially on the Monday morning. Just so super friendly. Oh also, the water temperature was perfect for us. We just really enjoyed our time here!
Love this place!. I travel from another town to use the ice rink for public skating. One of the rare arenas that makes ice available to the public at a reasonable time!
Very nice place to go in the winter. Lots of things to do for all ages and good pricing. 2 nice hot tubs and a sauna steam room. Highly recommended!
I've been to many rec centers specifically in Ontario and never have any even come close to measuring up to the LRC. There is so much variety for all ages! Public swims, swimming classes; a beautiful gym; yoga and Barre classes; pickle ball; open court basketball and open field soccer; hockey, figure skating, and so much more. The facility is spectacular. So clean and modern and toys and accessories are new and clean. Staff is also incredibly helpful, either on the phone or in person. My family loves being part of the LRC community. Keep up the amazing work.
The employees are not friendly to teens. You can get kicked out so easily. I’ve been kicked out for thing I didn’t even do 2 times. Other than that the pool is a nice pool and I would recommend swimming there. Just be careful what you do. There is also one janitor that I’ve called and complained about a few times, he hardly does he job correctly, he makes teens clean up a mess even if it wasn’t there fault. One time he even made me clean up blood in a bathroom, he thought I did it because I was standing right next to it. He didn’t even give me gloves so basically the janitor put me at risk of hepatitis B. There’s also one old guy that works there, reader if you are planning on going and if your anywhere between the age 11-17 watch out, he looks like Santa and he always finds a reason to get teens in trouble and kick them out. There are my complaints, it’s a fun place to be but just try to keep distance and act like you’re doing nothing around some of the supervisor employees. Hope you enjoy your time.
Excellent rec center. Swimming, ice rinks, curling rinks, soccer field, basketball, badminton, volleyball, fitness center, art studio, physiotherapy, concession, pub and Dairy Queen all wrapped into one building. Not to mention all the outdoor fields all around.
I went here to watch my nephews hockey game. Everything was clean and the rink was warm which was nice. My only complaint was that the cinsession was too expensive but that's normally the case anywhere you go.
Unprofessional staff. 3 staff members just chatting to each other behind the counter, and not one of them knew how to ring anyone in. The one who did know how was just chatting on the phone. Stood there for 10 minutes trying to get someone's attention, and no one even bothered to look up.
Held all the curling events hosted by the Curling Stadium streaming service; thanks to all involved for making this happen; many teams wouldn't get that amount of exposure.
Overall, this is a very well-rounded facility with most of the equipment you’d ever want. There is ample variety of equipment and space to exercise, even though this visit was done at a peak time. In addition, there are many fitness alternatives and other activities to perform in this facility as well.
