Had a great experience at this restaurant during our stay at L’Esterel. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the view over the lake was absolutely stunning. Service throughout our visit was top-notch.nnWe had a small hiccup when we ordered lunch for pickup. After an hour, the order still wasn’t ready due to a communication error. The chef personally came to our room with the food and a lovely dessert platter, and offered a sincere apology. That thoughtful gesture made us feel truly appreciated as guests.nnHighly recommended if you’re visiting the spa. Prices are reasonable for the quality and service provided.
Dinner: We had a reservation and appreciated that the restaurant accommodated a delay on our part. The menu had some creative and fancy dish names, but the prices seemed high for the portion size and quality. We tried the Estérel Salad and the classic hamburgers. While the salad was flavorful, I personally found the combination of cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, and the mayo sauce too greasy for my taste. Plus the frites were over cooked and not fresh so we almost didn’t touch them. The burger itself was yummy. The service was polite and attentive, though it took around 50-minutes to get our food. Thankfully, the view, salted cream, and bread kept us entertained while we waited. Overall, a mixed experience but worth trying for the ambiance. 3/5 starsnnBreakfast: The next day, we came back for breakfast, and it completely changed my expectations! The buffet offered an excellent variety of fresh fruits, juices, vegetables, and meats. Every ingredient was fresh and thoughtfully presented. It was a delightful experience that showcased the restaurant’s attention to breakfast quality and care in their breakfast service. 5/5 stars
The drinks both alcoholic and mocktails at supper were top notch. We had the crispy tofu for an appetizer, the pappardelle with braised beef and sea bass both were generous portions and full of flavour. The Carrot Cake with Cheese Mousse was incredibly delicious. We were treated to a lovely card to also congratulate us. Breakfast buffet was equally amazing, there was more options than I could have ever imagined. Thank you Le Voilier staff!
The breakfast buffet was fantastic. The dinner was good but the steak left something to be hoped for. Great views of the lake and quality service.
