Are you fan of boardgames, cartoon figurines, puzzles, arts and crafts? Well you got to discover this amazing place we found while walking on St-Denis street. Funny enough, My husband and I wanted to go to Renaud Bray and on our way there, we found this gem. My husband went crazy inside, they literally have everything. Def recommend to go visit!

In times of online shopping many retailers struggle - Amazon is shaving their profits off and the rents are brutal in Montreal. Let Valet d‘Coeur is a really nice store for boardgames and you get good advice for the games at affordable prices! So I hope they can make it and grow.

A game store after my heart. It has whimsical and fun interior, incredible selection of products, and personable staff. I have been coming here for years; and every visit is joyous. Bonus: fantastic inventory of Magic the Gathering cards :

Here's my email from them:  "Thank you for your online order.  I must tell you that our 5$ shipping cost never represents the real cost of expedition. We usually absorb the difference as part of the service we provide.  However, it  happens that the difference between what we ask for and the real shipping cost is too high for us to absorb in regard to the value of the order. In those situation we must, as stated in our conditions, ask for extra shipping fees.  In order to ship you game we must ask you for an extra 18,55$. Do you agree?  You could also add items to your order to raise its value, possibly allowing us to absorb the shipping cost."  What a great buisness practice - this is AFTER money was exchanged, not before. Not even sure this is legal.

sad to say I have been coming here a long time because of their admittedly good selection for Warhammer, but every time I come, I ask why I haven’t just ordered online.  the staff is unfriendly, even occasionally hostile, the store often smells bad, and overall I have had many unpleasant experiences.  my most recent visit will probably be my last one.

Good stuff, good service! You can find almost all if not all board games. I really wish they did used board games/ exchanges that would open up more streams of income/ network. It’s definitely slightly expensive buying here than buying games online but depends if you are willing to trade time with money.

Best place in town to get your games. Huge selection of board games, 3D and 2D puzzles, toys and curiosities. Friendly staff, always ready to give advise or answer your questions.

Every game that exists under the sun you'll find it here. It's overwhelming and dazzling all at once. It's a one stop shop for every board gamer to visit. While you can find everything it's often not the cheapest option though.
