Abel made me feel so welcome and cozy, I will be coming again soon! Extremely nostalgic, bakery smell, brought me back memories from my childhood. Exceptionally friendly staff, and the food was exquisite. Definitely worth taking time out of your day to visit! Also an excellent place to study
Really nice spot for a great and amazing . Espresso was excellent great coffee beans, good machine and knowledgeable barista : Service was very nice. Simple and quiet place to relax while enjoying your coffee or do some work. Has become a new favourite!
The pastry selection was extensive and almost overwhelming because I wanted everything but I managed to pick one and got an oat milk latte. Good Lord it was so amazing I almost cried in public. Worth the wait in line, which goes by quite quickly. Make it a point to stop when in the area.
Recently travel with a group of friends to Montreal. This bread and bakery was across the street from our Airbnb. The coffee was excellent and all of the pastries were so delicious. We literally went every morning! I highly recommend this gem.
Le Toledo has definitely won my heart! From the first person who attends you when you enter to the person who prepares you a coffee, all of them with a smile. But if I want to sin, I go for a Gâteau Basque... for God's sake! .. so delicious! .. is the perfect combination. It has just the right sweetness as well as the butter in its dough and a generous amount of filling with pastry cream and almond powder. It is noted that they use elements of the highest quality. I always combine it with a one shot American coffee, a delicious coffee and in this way it does not invade the taste of the gâteau. But an image is worth more than a thousand words .... Charlie
It's a fairly large, old-fashioned but welcoming environment. Walking in the front door, all you see is a wonderful selection of good-looking food . Further down on the wall, your choice of beverages and prices. It's all fairly priced, with uniquely tasting lattes and hot chocolate. The chocolatine and croissant were nice, though not exceptional. It was packed, and you had to do a 20-yard dash in 2 seconds or less to get a seat. Really loud with leftover holidayers. I'd come again.
Always loved and still love Boulangerie Toledo. We first discovered it by chance and fell in love with their delicious chausson pomme. It's not only big but also so crispy, buttery, sweet and flavourful. While their pastries are always excellent, the quality of their lattes varies on the barista. Some days, it's excellent, the latte is smooth and strong. On other days, it tastes like milk. But overall, I love going there for a snack or breakfast. I recommend it.
It’s great. The staff are honestly the nicest people. I like they sell frozen croissant and chocolatine. Bread is tasty and textured. The only thing I would say is the chocolatine is slightly stale and it wasn’t too late in the day. Otherwise great
Another wonderful boulangerie in Montreal, there is definitely not a shortage of them! Le Toledo is the biggest bakery I've visited so far, with plenty of seats and a huge selection of bread, sandwiches, pastries and coffee! I decided on the cheese croissant, chocolatine, and a vegan chocolate chip cookie. The workers speak perfect English so don't worry if you can't speak French, and there might be a line but it moves really fast. Prices are comparable to other boulangeries in Montreal, so it's not expensive for the quality of food. I miss this place already. If only they had the quiches in a smaller size, because the whole quiche is too big for me to finish... maybe one day.
Great boulangerie, loved the gateau Basque and the chocolate cake, both delicious and fresh. Great variety of bread, croissants and more
