Kind staff, waitress made sure we ordered just the right amount of food. Highly recommend their big chicken plate, super flavoursome and meat that falls off the bone. We were a group of 5 and shared the large size plate with plenty to go around. Their samsas and dumplings are only available on Friday and Saturdays, so it was a shame we couldn't try them! Lamb kabob were good too, we asked for spicy and liked it. We were disappointed to see that they serve plastic cutlery with the food, it's not as enjoyable to eat and bad for the environment. The restaurant was full on a Thursday evening, it was nice to families fill up the space, so it feels like it would be the more economical thing for them to invest in some silverware serving spoons included! if people are coming to dine-in? Their green tea tiramisu looked too beautiful too eat! It would've been nice if it was served on a plate and not in a plastic container. We also required the assistance of the waitress to cut the plastic seal around the cake with scissors ... otherwise a nice balanced dessert to end a great family-style dinner with friends : Will definitely come back!
Great taste of the cold noodles , and I love the lamb skewers! Cumin mixed with paprika spices, perfect ; and for those folks who has Halal diet, this is a halal restaurant that can satisfied you !
Really good combination of flavours and textures in this Uyghur dish. I would go back and have some more and try the other dishes they have. Highly recommend you try this chicken dish with their homemade noodles. It was our first time trying a Uyghur dish and it didn’t disappoint!
Amazing food ! Very tasty and lots of interesting spices like cumin. We love the lamp brochette, the pastas and the cut pastas ! Can't wait to try the breads and the chicken.Food: 5/5
Nice ambience and dishes focused on western Chinese cuisines, which is a mix of Arab and chineses dishes. Surprising and tasteful, I think this is a very interesting fusion of so different cultures. Price and portion sizes are pretty good too.
A bit pricey due to large portion of food, but great taste and service. Call in advance for dish availability as many dishes contain special ingredients that are not always available. Ordered lamb kebab, big plate chicken, lamb soup, and two salads, all very good. Ratings out of 5 Food: 5 Service: 4.5 Ambiance: 3 Price: 3.5 Location: 4 Overall: 4 Last visit: February 2019
The first experience here was more than awesome. We were amazed by their portion sizes. We'd ordered Lamb Kebab, Cumin Lamb, Special Leghman Lamb, Chicken Plate, Dry Fried Noodles Beef & their special Naan. Each and every item tasted individually different and great. The spice level was to our satisfaction and everything was prepared fresh. The owner informed us that this is their first day of re-opening after COVID-19 close down since March 2020 and so we had the honor to be one of their first customers today. We were also presented with their traditional tea after food, to make the experience wholesome. Would definitely recommend this place and return again if visit back Montreal. Two thumbs up !
Great family owned restaurant. I've never tasted Chinese food from this province and this was a great surprise. The price is alright too. Bear in mind that the food is meant to be shared. The bun dish was fantastic and so was the noodles. The chicken dish was equally as good and can be eaten with no rice. And kebabs yummy kebabs. A great secret find in LaSalle.
The food taste amazing. Highly recommended the LAMB KEBAB. And BIG CHICKEN PLATE is popular as well. For me i love the CHOPPED FRIED NOODLE. It's a prefect place for food. And also they can speak Chinese. BUT HONESTLY THE SERVICE IS REALLY BAD. nobody gave the water. No body care about us. And staff always forgot what i order. And the service here is really really really really slow. One order one hour.
First time to eat. Good service. Come to ask us is it delicious several time. And i like the mutton shashlik. I think it is the best in Montreal. And I like the spiced chicken with the chili sauce. In Chinese is . I will go to eat next time. Forget to take photos. Will update next time too. Come here second time. Today doesn't have then we order But still have and the mutton shashlik. Very good taste.
