Holy heck this food is amazing! The first time I order from them we had Yen Kitchen three days in a row so we could try more things! Everything is so fresh and flavorful, They have special seasonal offerings so there's periodically new dishes to try. Absolutely love this restaurant!

Staffs were all very friendly and helpful. Explained the menu very well. Serving size was good, just the right amount of food per person. Price was okay. Food was okay. Presentation well done. Restaurant was clean except for the musty smell while we dine in. Parking available. All in all it's okay.

Chef Yen consolidated their menu to allow for a unique line-up of menu choices that emphasize fresh ingredients. Some of their dishes honestly can compete with Anh & Chi based in Vancouver. The staff are passionate professionals from the homeland. It's definitely a hidden gem on Portage for the unassuming foodie.

Just ordered take out from here this evening and was very pleased with the quality and freshness. The rice rolls were the best I've ever had and the Beef Pho and Beef Bun Noodle were also delicious. Highly recommended and will definitely return!

Went back to Yen Kitchen again and still blown away by the friendly service and, of course, the food!! So tasty! They even remembered me by name this time and gave me a nice little gift for coming back. Exactly what I love about local community places - a personal touch. Love the food and love the staff! Consider us regulars!

The food was ok and came out quickly. We had the beef pho and the shredded chicken banh mi with the broken rice and chicken. Price was reasonable for quantity and quality.
