Seemed like a nice spot for dinner. Wait to get seated was pretty long. After being seated, it was easy to tell they were understaffed. Because of this, everything took a lot longer than it should have. Food was average, knowing you generally pay more at a hotel restaurant.Food: 3/5
Waited nearly 10 minutes to be seated, 10 more to get a menu and water. The food was overpriced but tasted… okay. If the service, prices, and wait times were adjusted I’d give it 3 stars.Food: 4/5
It’s a good restaurant with good food. I give 4 stars because it’s not exceptional. My 5 stars go only to places which surprised me. This place delivered solid performance but it’s not Michael Jordan or Tina Turner level.
Amazing food and service. We came 9:05pm and still got served for food. Much appreciated! Duck entree is no more on the menu but the ribs and poutine taste really good!
Awesome food. Really great dinner, my fish and chips were awesome, as was the duck my brother had. It really was a dining experience, not to be missed. Stuff was helpful, service was quick. When compared to other restaurants in the price range, easily one of the best I've came across. If I had the possibility to give more than 5 stars I easily would, well deserved.
Solo business traveler staying at the Double Tree for 4 nights. Ate at the restaurant 3 of the 4 nights because it was fantastic. Being a hotel restaurant some of the menu items were not available at the time of order which was frustrating, but everything I did order was excellent!! The servers and bartender manager were extremely pleasant and provided great service. The Cornwall chicken was my favorite dish. Juicy chicken breast with skin cooked to perfection. The pistachio desert was the best! Will definitely return to this hotel and restaurant if working in the area again.
Ate here because it was conveniently located in the hotel. The place is definitely under staffed and over priced. $80 dinner for 1 with no alcohol…. Steak with French fries and a small salad! Insane.
Second day in a row ordering the same “Spanish Omelette”. It’s so good that I had to have it twice, and the people at the restaurant are really nice, I was able to even practice my french lol
A very pleasant discovery, we ate at the bar where the bartenders were very friendly. My onion soupe was amazing and the smoke meat poutine was even better. I am telling you guys it's not just a poutine. My buddy had the burger and found it to be excellent. A definite be back for sure.
Wonderful experience. Sevice excellent, waitress charming, and food up to snuff. Salmon tartar and duck entree were well worth the cost. Bar is a bit limited but should suit most needs. Fair tea selection as well.
