I had pho bo, fried donut in bitter chocolate, and daikon salad. I’ll focus only on reviewing the soup. I’ve had amazing Pho in Montreal and even more amazing all over Vietnam. Their broth basically consisted of water, nutmeg, cinnamon. It was quite bitter to the taste. No fat, no beef taste, and tons of green onions on top. Not sure if this is their attempt at fusion with local flavours or of if is the result of supply chain disruptions. Almost seemed like they used too much water or not enough beef. Either way, it was absent of flavours I usually expect.
Le petit boui boui is offering a small but fresh selection your classic&favourite Vietnamese food A papaya salad tangy but not too spicy you can still add spice with the sauce available on the table The pho bo was full of flavour and a lot less salty than some other place I tried in the past. I would appreciate bigger portion but it felt fine for the price and the main leave you enough room for a sweet dessert The coconut caramel cream was delicious
Great authentic food and warm service. Small menu but every dish was made with care. Will be back to try the rest of the menu items!
The food was excellent! I ordered the Bánh xèo and my friends ordered Pho for takeout. The vibe of the place is great and really sets itself apart!
Clearest pho in town. Very refined. Warm service. Open and friendly, tight ship, deserves your business. Very affordable and the quality of food is high
I kinda like the food, but it is way too salty! Cha La Lot, vegetables and herbs were fresh. Aside from the meat being too salty, this was my favorite dish here. Pho, broth again too salty, but we liked the noodles, they were done right, they are thicker and have better texture than other pho restaurants. However as some other reviewers had said, the pho was too plain simple and there weren't any varieties to choose from the menu... I wished they had a spicy soup at least. Banh Xeo, is alright, a bit overcooked, mostly Chop Suey though... Overall, if it weren't so overly salty on like everything, this would've been a 4 stars. Portion wise, it could be 10% larger.
The reviews tthat I saw about the vietnamese crepes built-up my expectations and I was far from disappointed. It was amazingly good both texture- and taste-wise. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options all easily identified on the menu
Beautiful, authentic but modern Vietnamese place. Friendly service, and delicious food for extremely reasonable prices. Definitely worth a visit!
The service was great, the salads were great, but the pho was bland. The raw beef in the pho was served entirely in one piece and was therefore difficult to eat with chopsticks.
Limited menu means truly delicious food!!!! Everything we ordered was amazing. Wish I tried this spot sooner. Will become a regular stop.
