We had the opportunity to celebrate our anniversary at Le petit bar a vin even though the place was reserved for a group. JF, the owner, was kind enough to treat us to a nice table.nnWe had the discovery wine service. Our experience started in Ontario and then travelled to Acadie, Grece, Argentina, Italie, France and Spain. It is always a pleasure to discover imported wines.nnWe also shared a nice platter of fish, terrine and cheese.nnThe atmosphere is always nice and service is excellent. Special thanks to Laurence.nnSometimes there is a small band.nnPlenty of parking.
Always a great experience when we come here. We thoroughly enjoy the selection of wines available and always discover something new to like. The staff are more than competent and the owner is friendly too. We enjoy coming back and have done so many times, and I often get the charcuterie and cheese board which I end up eating all by myself because I enjoy it that much along with a 3 glass wine tasting.
Went for supper with friends. The service was really good and the ambiance is cute, but the music choice wasn’t great. Don’t go there expecting a full course. It’s more of an appetizer style bar. We ordered a charcuterie board which was tasty but wasn’t great for $56. There was a handful of spinach with balsamic and onions on the platter which didn’t feel like it was meant to be on a charcuterie board. The onion soup was good. The menu consisted of charcuterie board options, salmon tartare, Italian ciabatta bun and desserts. The wine pairing was really good, but we did the wine tasting menu where you get 5 x 2 ounces wine and they weren’t generous with their portions….but you can add more if you like one of the wines. Not sure I’d go again, unless I’m only going for wine tasting.
