Small shop + restaurant hybrid. Tacos were ok, I had Cochinita and the meat was nicely spiced and moist these tacos are typical mexican: small with double tortillas. The pupusas and the Sope were really the ones that stand out! I highly recommend taking them. With the Sope, you can add extra meat. The pupusa is filled with a mix of beans, meat and cheese.
We got a take out! They kindly gave us a mix to taste everything. Great tacos! They also have a nice selection of Latino productsFood: 5/5
This is authentic Latin food. The food is delicious and you feel like you are eating in the living room of a Latino family. please don't come here is you are looking for luxury ambiance but yes for amazing food!

We stopped here on a whim because of the high reviews. They were well deserved! With four of us, we ordered two of the large bowls of meat with corn tortillas, along with a beef skillet dish. Everything was great, and I was particularly surprised and impressed with the pickled cactus. Would visit again.
*** READ IF YOU WANT THE TRUTH *** First off, the water was disgusting. I have never complained about water in my life but, this water was so disgusting and tasted horrible. Next, the nachos we ordered were $12 but they weren’t nachos at all. They were rather chips which were un-tasteful and a side of bland guacamole. After a long wait for me and my girlfriends food to come, we already had lost our high hopes of this well rated restaurant. When our food came, I instantly noticed how wet and soggy my enchiladas were. I never normally have problems with my food, but this was very disappointing. The sour cream was spread all over and the wet chicken did not taste good. Now onto my girlfriends dish. She ordered chicken tostadas and told me how there was way too much sour cream and how the tortilla became soggy like mine. The combination of sour cream and onion mixed together and did not taste as it should have. Moreover, the dish did not look at all as it did in the pictures. This overpriced food is not worth one bit of money. Finally, mid way through our meal, our waitress who rarely came out in the first place left and drove off. After waiting a while, we realized no one was coming to ask how our food was. We paid for our awful food and it was more than 55 dollars! I feel this is unacceptable considering all the great reviews this place. I can’t speak for how the tacos were, but the service, food, and disgusting water was some of the worst I have ever experienced.
Really the best Mexican food in all of Quebec city and maybe north of Montreal. Were instantly transported by the taste to our trip to Mexico city and Oaxaca a year ago. Fresh corn Tacos and the seasoned meats make all the difference here and you won't be disappointed. Make sure to check their store as well for imported and home made ingredients. They were also very happy to explain the menu and made clear that the Horchata we ordered was imported and not made fresh the same day and tasted great by the way. Can't recommend enough for takeout as well.
