Le Gîte du Pêcheur

Very clean, very close to the lake, a small pool we were invited to use which was great after a day on the bicycles. Loved the breakfast. Very friendly host, we speak French, so I don't know what other language they speak. We were lucky to get the last room with 2 queen beds for our family of four, not a lot of space but more than enough for a night. We spent anyway most of the time outside.

Robin and Louise were wonderful hosts. They were fun, had interesting things to say and definitely kept us entertained. Breakfast was good as well.nI have nothing negative to say about this B&B and highly recommend it to everyone!

There are 3 guest rooms and the walls are panelled with knotty pine planks. There is one large shared bathroom.near the guest rooms and another upstairs near the kitchen. There is also a TV watching g area near the guest rooms. My room had a queen bed and was comfortable. One guest room has a double bed and the other has 2 double beds. The owner is friendly but does t speak much English. Nearby around the corner are some nice views of the lake. TIP: Check out the beach view on Quai street and also the view of the lake from the nearby elevated roadside lookout point at the junction of hwy 169 and hwy 170.

Pleasant cottage on a quiet little street a short distance from Lac St-Jean, where we could admire wonderful sunsets. 3 bedrooms in the basement sharing 1 large bathroom. Clean and safe place, hosts welcoming us like friends, tranquility, close to the village shops. 100% recommended. Thank you to Louise and Robin for your welcome and your warm chats.
