I had a very positive experience at this restaurant as it has generous portion sizes and good food quality. Our meals had ample variety as well as having a healthy touch. I really enjoyed by casserole or eggs Benedict, as it was prepared very well, and tasted nice too. Service here was perfect as the servers were very kind and polite with us. They patiently explained parts of the menu and translated into English as well, I was very impressed by them! Overall I do recommend going here if you'd like to enjoy a more American type breakfast place
Parking was full, so we had to park elsewhere. Despite our reservation and calling in about 5 minutes prior to advise of traffic but not far and on our way, when we finally arrived 10 minutes later, we still had to wait another 10 mins for our table. General service in-house was quick and friendly. Great decor, but the menu was very typical; nothing to shake a stick at. But the food did taste good. Great calamari entrée. I just wish there was a bit more noodle to sauce/meatball ratio. After about 5 or 6 scoops, was left with a meaty tomato mix. For the fish and chips, the fish had a great batter, not overcooked, but the julienne fries were. Also, the tartar sauce came in the size of a small soup bowl. Again, sauce-to-fish ratio was a bit off, so we had to waste about 3/4 of that after we were done. Waiting for our bill, we also noticed the busboy cleaning other tables, and then setting them, fingers on the fork prongs and spoon scoops, and fingers *in* the clean glasses - as he placed them on downwards on the table. It wasn't our table, but we suspect it might be the case before we arrived. Not very appealing. Overall... it was... okay, at best.
This place was very close to the place we stayed and we read good reviews about it. It is located on a busy street. Cosmos Laurier has a different and colourful vibe. We ordered for Milanaise pasta, Nachos Maison and raspberry mojito. All of them too good. The only disappointing thing was they charge a whopping extra 4 dollars for cheese. You guys should inform your customers about it. Hence only 2 stars for service Parking: Very limited slots for parking
The place looked nice inside and was right next to our hotel, we ordered 2 small nachos and they were pitiful. The chips were stale, stuck into the container and there was a random pasta noodle in it. These portions were too small for the price as well.Food: 2/5
I read the reviews and gave a try. The fries looked more like leftovers with sizes so small that left me wondering which potatoes do they use. The patty in the burger was cold. The staff cleaned a table next to me and it was an eye wash no cleaner used. I will not recommend this restaurant. The food looks good but lacks quality
Salad tastes good! But the main dishes are so overcharged. We tried a burger, a pasta and the steak, all of which are disappointing. Especially the pasta tastes and looks like the cheap pasta you will get in the cheap Italian restaurant in Japan that costs only 2 dollar! Unbelievable. The restaurant is quite pretty and the service is very good though. But the food quality is not on the level it should suppose to be. Disappointed. :/
I had to come to st foy for medical reasons, and made sure I monitored my daily expenses, so I did a 4 day food expense sheet, prior to departure, I did my due diligence, yet Cosmos did not update their prices, a clubsandwich was posted at 20$,, my receipt was over 27$,, unfortunately I am not a person to complain, yet when I found a hair in my sandwich, I went over to the Restaurant, to advise the manager, of the inconsistency, of the online site,,,,just make sure prior to ordering that these Restaurants have updated their online sites,, false advertising,,
The restaurant charged me $5.50 + tax for two extra slices of bread without telling me there would be an extra cost and without indicating it on the menu. This ruined an otherwise decent breakfast.Food: 3/5
The two stars are for the good service and the decoration. The food quality and taste is not proportional to the price.
Poutine week, great food. Unfortunately the waitress forgot about us. But when she noticed the error she did her best correct it. We appreciated that she was honest and offered a dessert. Which was amazing. The burger my wife had was good also
