I hate leaving bad reviews but I hate even more lack of accountability... I've bought a bunch of clothes from this place over the past ten years, that I loved, but my last experience wasn't so great. I found the perfect fisherman pants, in a nice breathing fabric with enough structure to makes them fit nicely... and they tore in two places on the first wear : I brought them back and was told that normally, no exchange is done without the receipt. I get it from a multiple employees store where the cashier can't remember you, or if you change your mind after a few weeks, but for a defective product, I almost expect an apology, not a favor! Also, it was mentioned during this frustrating exchange I must have moved in a way that tore them!!!! LOL!!!! I wasn't aware some pants were made to stand still, I used to wear the most basic fisherman pants for YOGA and never had any problem with them... While browsing for a replacement, I found more damaged pieces different styles and fabrics and brought them back to the owner. I can't tell if they'll be permanently removed or will get back on the racks... Really check carefully what you get from there before you leave the store to avoid the disappointment. Gave two stars because the clothes are still beautiful and probably good enough quality for a few summer festivals, but I disliked the service/attitude I received today. I tend to assume good intentions and know that no one is immune to a bad day, but damn...
There's a history here... for 30some years I've always gotten excited when entering this must stop venue. It is the pinnacle place to find that original/symbolic gift for your family member or personal love one or yourself . . .it doesn't matter if you are female or male cause this store has the profound captivation of beauty. The theatrical colors that do come alive either a garment, ornament, handmade jewelry or that simplistic piece your eyes wander upon . . . your mind will melting in awe. Over the years, I have bought bags, scarfs, sweaters, pants and multiple dresses-- mostly gifts but a few items like you see me here in a orignal hat and I have never been disappointed with any purchase... jamais [never] Geno [the sole owner] is mellowed so sauvé and attentive with his clients. He's deeply well-mannered to a calm of unbelievable patience. In a nutshell, whatever diggs you're into, there will be something at Geno's unisex shop for you.
Quite a find! I stopped to take a picture of one of their beautiful dresses and was greeted warmly by the owner, André. He knew exactly what to show me. I ended up with a lovely blue and beige frock and a gorgeous silver filigree ring with a mother and baby whale inlay. Inspiring conversation and a fine, relaxed shopping experience that I appreciate and recommend.
I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!! Beautiful clothing and the owner is so kind You’ll find the most unique and flattering clothing here. I seriously love it. Please support them!
Quirky little shop tended by a very sweet and helpful man. Clothes are very cute, but -warning - sizes run very small. There is a dressing room.
Really cool store with unique pieces that you can't find anywhere else. The owner is also very kind!
Please answer your phone. I may have left my glasses there.
