I enjoyed the selection of liquor in this LCBO. I was able to find a Appleton Reserve 8 bottle of dark rum. Not all LCBO carries this Appleton bottle. The staff are very friendly and helpful. If you are in Pickering, I recommend this LCBO store.
I am 24 years old. Cashier asked me for my ID and when I said I didn’t have it on me, she proceeded to insult me by telling me I look 19 which is still of legal age. Horrible way to treat or talk to your customers. Cashier was working the second register from the exit working the shift at 2pm on Saturday, Dec 20th.
There’s some wierd guy named Luigi at the end land cashier who is just so strange and rude . Has no manners and literally the worst cashier ever .nHe just stares at whoever’s in the lineup with this mean aggressive look , like are you actually ok dude ?nnI buy 2 carrier bags to go with all the alcohol and he proceeds to grab an open box to put all my purchases in. I’m like - do you not see the 2 bags that you just rang up that are literallu in front of us right now ?nHe then proceeds to just stand there . He is incapable of bagging my purchases in the bags I bought . He can only put it in an open box …..nIs there some rule they can’t bag items ??? Is he actually ok?nnWhy would I want to put items in a box when I just bought 2 bags ???? So I struggle to carry them out ? Like I have no wordsnWhen you buy groceries with bags does the cashier grab a random box to put them in??nLIKE SERIOUSLy how absurd would that be right ??? Like ….nnAnd then I ask for those bottle protecting things - those white sleeves they used to have . He makes a screw face like that’s the most absurd thing anyone could ever ask inside an alcohol store and goesnWhat bottle protecting things . With disgust in his voice . Lol .nLike are you actually serious ?nnAren’t machines better than this ?? I have to bag my own items and tap to pay.nMachines don’t give attitude and screw faces and do dumb things like grab boxes for no reason. For trh love of god how hard is it To do the easiest job on earth???nnEverything I asked was a rude “what” like he’s hard of hearing and im asking the dumbest questions imaginable .nIs he actually ok?nnAnd to top it off , I go set my bottle in my trunk and it broke . Like get proper bottle sleeves and what is the point of cashiers who don’t bag items ? Like I don’t understand their job . Can someone explain? Is bagging not a cashiers job ???nnAnd he’s at the very end lane . Always looks sooo wierd and aggressive like he wants to fight and hates everyone . Then don’t work in that job !!!! Pls get machines that don’t make simple things so damn difficult !!nnEveryone else is super nice and helpful . I will never go to this store again just because of weirdos like him!nnAlso to the management- I can tell something is wrong with this guy in 10 seconds . And you decide this guy is ok to serve the public in an alcohol store ??? Who hires and trains these people is beyond me. Like seriously.
Great selection of rums from my favorite places. It was busy on Friday June 28 before long weekend. But they opened up additional check out lines to keep everyone moving.nVery efficient.
It was good and during testing I bought a brandy bottle and the staff was excellent in service
