This location for the most part does not have the Scotch I want in the larger bottle and this time they did. Another nice surprise was that it was not under lock and key like the Bath Road location. It becomes a pain when you have to find and wait for someone to unlock a cabinet. It started to get busy in the store. It was nice to see that they had enough staff to add another cashier. It was in and out in no time.
Was there last year visiting from U.S. . Looking for the Henderson Brew making a Rush ale. Didn't see it on the isle. Inquired about to the stock guy. He helped looking it into the computer. Found it. Thanks
LCBO Midland Kingston. There was an issue with their method of forming a line or feeding each individual cashout. They seem to have a special line up system. After shoppers form a orderly single line feeding to the cashes. The line up police aggressively tell everyone to abandon the single line up and rush to individual cashes. There is absolutely no signs letting you know how the line up works. But that was minor compared to the rude staff. I approached a clerk in the store and made an inquiry. She was instantly abrasive and impolite. She told me to go see the Store Manager. I considered sharing the issue with the Manager. By the time I went to see the Manager, Brian, he had already been primed by the rude clerk. He came out of the office to meet me and was ready to do verbal battle. He was impolite, condescending and very short with me for no obvious reason. Certainly not what you would expect from a Retail Manager. He could certainly do with some customer sensitivity training. At the very least Head Office should subject this store to a planned mystery shopper to see for themselves how customers are being treated.
Visited recently. Big store. The staff was super kind and happy. Love love the customer service & friendliness.nnDoes not have ice yet but lots of parking and great whisky & wine selection.nnWill return to this store just for the helpfulness of the staff! Hats off to the customer service here!
This LCBO is close to all shops and stores while including a large selection of wine to choose from. It covers the selections we like from Ontario, Australia and New Zealand too.
