LCBO - Bloor West Village

I've had two positive experiences here. There was a female staff answering customers questions and she knows her stuff! I asked if she can recommend a white wine that I can use for cooking pasta - seafood and/or mushroom cream pasta and she asked me questions to help narrow our choices such as my budget, level of acidity, level of creaminess, ingredients I would add to my dish and occasion. She recommended a Cavit Collection Pinot Grigio 2021 which I purchased. And then for future if I want to be more fancy, the Jaffelin Bourgogne Aligoté 2021. The staff are informative and most give good customer service.

Good spirit, wine and beer. Limited vintages section. Busy on a Friday night when I went but a good neighbourhood location. Public parking just a few steps.

Classic looking LCBO. Lots of cold beer in the back. The long line ups goes quickly.

Has good variety of collection given the location and size of premises. Can almost find all types of liquor

I visited this store around the noon hour to purchase a bottle of brandy. I usually browse the store to look for any interesting wines too. The security guard on duty was following me around as if I was a threat! Or a shop lifter. I felt uncomfortable and offended by his behaviour. I spoke to the store manager who was apologetic. I will not return to this location, even though it is us the nearest location to me.

The experience I had was very very good. On entering I ask a lady who was stocking vodka shelves where I could find an expensive French Champagne. She immediately stopped stocking and escorted me to an expensive wine section where she spent more than 10 minutes explaining and recommending various champagnes. She was very knowledgeable and really took a great interest in helping me. More than most sommilers

Female security guard needs to be fired! Middle eastern long hair. I and 2 other customers were lined up for the cashier and she directed us to “GO OVER THERE TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE STORE. GO STAND WHERE THE STICKERS ARE POSTED” which none of us saw. So 2 of us did, and one male was on his phone finishing his call security guard goes “SIR SIR PLEASE GO STAND THERE” he got annoyed and nodded but was finishing his phone call. What is this kindergarten? Power trip for 14$. Hire someone else. Also the cashier older male was flirting with a young female with her male friend. Saying “must be partying hard tonight, with all this alcohol and dressed for it too”. Was an uncomfortable experience.

Friendly, Polite and knowledgeable staff. They have made great suggestions on choice of wines. Great selection of gin, vodka, rum and scotch. Good selection of eastern European vodkas! Thank you everyone! Great hardworking staff.

While this LCBO is pretty small so you won't get quite as wide selection as some other LCBO locations I can't say I've ever felt let down. I love this branch because they always offer new drinks to try. If there is something coming fresh on the market, they are going to have it. It's given me the chance to experiment with new drinks. Staff are friendly as can be and always willing to help. This LCBO is such a critical store to the Bloor West Village! Especially during Covid!! Lol

The beer selection at this location is fantastic. The collection of craft, international and just interesting beers is hard to beat in the area. Staff are generally quite friendly and willing to help you locate an item in theirnlocatiin or other local ones. I definitely recommend taking a look at this location if you enjoy beer and are passing through the Bloor West village.
