It's an older motel but it is very cute and cozy. The rooms were clean and comfortable. They have the fluffiest towels I've ever used in a motel/hotel. It was a great little place to stay.
This is advertised as a 3-star motel, but our experience was 5-Star! You may not be staying in the lap of luxury here, but the customer service by Michael the owner is par-excellence. For an extremely reasonable price, we got a very spacious room with a kitchenette. And the continental breakfast in the morning was of high quality with a variety of bagels, juices, coffee and a dozen different types of cereals for the kids which they loved.nnMichael was also very helpful in providing valuable local information. We would recommend people to only stay at Lazy J if staying the night or two..or more in Claresholm.
Cleanliness was 5/5, the continental breakfast provided lots of options, but John is the real gem here.nnHe remembers his customers and he takes the time to connect and engage with them. I spent an hour over breakfast just chatting away. Great place - this is my new go to for Claresolm. It was comfortable and just felt like a home away from home for me.nnThank you for the wonderful stay!
Best policy in life is to under promise and over deliver. This hotel does that. For a budget hotel, it provided adequate furnishings, good parking and a better-than-expected breakfast. Was not the Hilton, but great value for money.
I had a fantastic stay at the Lazy J Motel. The facility was clean and comfortable, and the water temperature and pressure in the shower was excellent. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was good with a variety of options to start the day right.nnWhat really stood out to me was how the innkeeper went above and beyond when my vehicle was broken into during the stay. They were incredibly kind, offering video surveillance footage to assist, providing some repair materials, and even generously refunding a night of our stay. Their support made a tough situation much easier to handle. I highly recommend the Lazy J Motel for anyone looking for a place where both the accommodations and customer care are top-notch
